Beautiful? Yes
Sexy? No.
She has a look about her. Unlike people like say.. Megan Fox who have an entirely different look.
i think Megan Fox is highly overrated.
i mean, she is kinda hot, but not nearly has hot as people make her out to be.
she also has a bitchy look to her

She has a tomboyish look to her. But I find her body sexy tbh, not her face as much.

I'm not really into blonds but I am into T&A, so yeah, I think she is fine. Not the hottest of all time or anything, but still very hot.

Do I think she WAS beautiful, yeah, actually, she looked very pretty in an era before airbrushing and photoshop.

EDIT: Fixed
Interesting, but of those four pictures, three are airbrushed, one of them quite crudely (bottom one, look at the shape of her chest and the way the light falls on it relative to the rest of her body, especially the areas getting light from the same direction, I had a lecture involving that exact photo not long ago). They absolutely used to edit pictures to remove imperfections, it's just cheaper and easier now.

Anywayse...
I think Ms Monroe was a very nice looking woman, but I think she represents the beginning of a slippery slope too. She's pretty much the prototype of the multi talented stars/starlets that Disney churns out today. Other people picked her looks, her work and even her hair colour, body and name. All the iconography and glamour surrounding her is a product other people made to make money out of her, which bothers me.
She is unique in so far as she is the first and the icon, but whenever I see her all I can think is that her success is responsible for Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus.

There might have been a beautiful woman in there somewhere, but to me she's the start of human beings as product lines.

Do I think she IS beautiful, no, because she's a collection of probably dissolved ashes.

She was very very beautiful, but I always found Jayne Mansfield to be more sexy then Marilyn, as far as Blonde Pinup types went

so was Rita Hayworth.

In this day and age no. She was a size 14. Everyone seems to believe that if you're above a quadruple-zero and you can't clearly see all of the bones in your body poking through your skin then you're fat, ugly and probably stupid for not knowing how to be anorexic.

But in my opinion, however meaningless it is, she's gorgeous.

Is the pope catholic?

...That's rhetorical btw

I agree with what a lot of people are saying. She's curvy, something that you don't see enough in women now-a-days. A nice bit of meat on a women never goes a miss. There's also something about that hair...it's probably just because of the style of the time, but it's just that...slightly old fashioned look. She's like a tasty wild thing with a posh classy look. The kind of girl who'd you'd have drug induced wild animal sex shortly after a tea party at aunt Agather's.

I think that the main thing that set Monroe apart was that she actually had some body mass. Not like today's models, who are stick-thin and resemble, as Paul from Unskippable would say, two watermelons glued to an egg noodle. She seemed like she actually had some idea of the fact that starving yourself = bad, and just being yourself = good.

She's very pretty, of course. She has a classic sort of beauty about her. Kind of like how Nicole Kidman is beautiful--it's a mature beauty.

I think she was very beautiful. She looked so classy, like she'd give me etiquette lessons and a cup of tea if we ever met.

Big difference from today's 'sex symbols' who just look like they could give me a good time for 20 dollars.
