My favorite loyality mission was Tali's,since I romanced her and I had her in my party since Mass Effect 1.

As Female Shepard I would go with Kassumi's one, which was quite fun.

Tali's was probably my favorite, if only for the trial and the amount of ways you can affect it and for the fact that you can (maybe) alter the entire war strategy of an entire species.

And Jack's I liked on a much more personal level, it definitely expanded her as a character, and for the most part emphasis was placed on personal stuff and the combat portion didn't clog it up as much as it did with the other loyalty missions.

Mordin's rounds out the list for much of the same reason, though the combat was more drawn out in his mission, which is why it ranks below Jack's.

Tali's as it was the most expansive and immersive, really enjoyed visting the flotilla. Always found the Quarians interesting.

Samaras just was the funnist though.

Grunts was awesome, in a story heavy game "punch the shit out of that shit, then punch it some more" was refreshing. Doesn't hurt that Grunt is one of my favorites.

I find my preferences to be somewhat biased by my opinion of the characters... One of my favourites is Jacks mission, but that's at least partially because I liked her despite her being a total *****.
I also know that Jacobs mission is great, but I hate Jacob and thus I enjoy the mission less.
otherwise Jack dies

I also really enjoyed the first part of Kasumis mission (but hated the endfight). So yeah... those are probably my top 3.

My favorite loyalty mission was probably Mordin's or Legion, both had an interesting backstory, good fighting sequences and difficult moral choices in the the end.

Least favorite one had to be Thane's. I really like Thane's character and all, but his loyalty mission was just annoying and boring.

I will go with Legion's, not only did I like "the character" it also looked like the loyalty mission with the biggest impact on the future...(if I remember it correctly...).

I'm torn between Jack and Tali's as my favorites. Basically for the reasons listed above.

My least favorites were Legion's and Garrus'. Legion's presented a nice backstory about the Geth, but the mission was basically irrelevant. Garrus' story was all about how a good man goes bad, and I felt that the whole "maverick cop" thing to be worn thin by the end.

Then Samara's,just because you get a unique choice at the end of it.
I spent an hour and 3 retries trying to figure out which choice I wanted to make.

Playing through again just to experience the second one.

I dont know if were counting DLC characters
but
I think my favorite was probably a tie between grunts (because I got to talk to Wrex), Kasumi's because it made me feel like James bond or Legions because it had the most impact and he became my favorite team mate

My least favorite was Zaheed's because it seemed thrown in there.

Not any one in particular. Jacob's was probably the most entertaining: well-balanced, straightforward and pretty sights.
To be honest, I didn't particularly like Jacob's mission. Most of the plot didn't make any sense whatsoever, and their wasn't much in the way of interactions, and as soviet heavy said, the environment wasn't good at all.
I didn't have any problems with the enviroment, and i'd prefer lush tropical alien world over brown industrial corridors any day.

What about the plot didn't make sense? Made perfect sense to me, and while other loyalty missions were a lot more elaborate on the plot, i can't put Mordin's as #1 because... brown industrial wasteland.

The enemies were a balanced mix of mech and humanoid, and there was never a LOT of talking or a LOT of shooting. The length was just right, too.
I agree with you on the environment - at least Jacob's loyalty mission gets out in the fresh air a bit..... ;-)
Not to mention it gives an interesting insight to who Jacob is, which you don't really get with many of the others.....
So yeah, I actually like Jacob's mission. And I enjoy Legion's + Tali's cos of the Geth/Quarian history (though Tali grates a bit, with all that coy behaviour....)

I liked most of the loyalty ones to be honest, Miranda's was a bit dull, Jacobs was a bit meh but the renegade ending made up for that, imo.

If I had to pick a favorite I would either go for Legion's because it was a quite a good moral dilemma or Kasumi's because it just felt really different and going round whats-his-face's treasure room was quite interesting.

Mordin's was the most moving, for me. Definitely my favourite.

When he's faced with the various experiments his old student was conducting, as well as finding the dead Krogan female who volunteered for the experiments, it's actually kind of heartbreaking. Very haunting sequences.

In any Bioware game, the mission with the trial is always the most exciting and climactic as there is always a massive shift in the associated character's backstory as well as a badass speech attached in there somewhere.
It took me about 8 attempts to get out of mannan...

Mordin's loyalty mission was a philishophical quesion. It was unique in that way.
