Mass Effect 2: How many Playthroughs/Hours?

In total i'd say around 45 hours, with both of my playthroughs coming in at around 22-23 hours. (Managed to finish both playthroughs in 20 hours though...and oddly enough, I managed to beat the game faster in my Level 30 save than I did in my Level 25 save...weird.)

I also have a 45 minute save going...not sure what i'm going to do with it though.

I am also planning to go back and finish Mass Effect 1 again, just so I can do another import game...

I've got at least three finished games, which are about 20 hours each.
And then I have some profiles that I'm working on.
I think I'm at 88 hours total right now.

Do posts like these make you guys feel cool or something? This thread is obviously for people who like ME2 and have played it a fair amount. If it isn't your cup of tea then stay out of the thread and post interesting discussion about stuff you do like. Stuff like this is just a lame attempt at trolling or trying to rile people up.

Nowhere in the OP did it say that this was limited to ME2 fans only. What it did ask was how many hours you've put into the game. My answer is zero. I did not flame the game. Just answered the question. If that makes you insecure in some way, then you're gonna have to learn to get over it. Cheers!

It doesn't make me insecure in any way, thank you. To act like you responded just because you can, and not expect to get a reaction in a thread full of ME2 fans is foolhardy. And, if you expect me to believe that post was just innocent, than you must think I'm stupid, not insecure.

It's the equivalent of a guy going out to a convention specifically drawn to people who like a certain thing and saying, "I've never tried or liked this product/service, and I don't plan on doing so." Yes he isn't bashing whatever it is people like, but he specifically drawing attention to himself, and those at the convention will ask him, "What's your deal? Why are you here then and why don't you like this?"

My point is, yes you're within your full rights to post you don't care to play ME2, but why did you? I believe it wasn't just to post your answer to the question, but to draw a reaction out of people and start an argument. You can deny this all you want, but it doesn't change the fact that it is likely true.

First playthrough: Default Shepard Sentinel Normal- 28 hours

Second playthrough: Paragon Shepard Sentinel Veteran - 29 hours

Third Playthrough: Renegade FemShep Infiltrator Hardcore - 27 hours

Fourth Playthrough: Paragon Shepard Sentinel Insanity - In progress, likely at least 25 hours

I think I'm around 14-16 hours so far still on my first playthrough. I've taken up quite a few side quests though and I still haven't even assembled my entire team. I think I have like 2 people remaining (not counting the 1st day DLC guy because I didn't purchase the game, yet.) I'm really looking forward to my 2nd playthrough where I go into evil dick mode, as opposed to my current, stock-character good guy mode that I always do on my first playthrough of these games.

I got one done completely (Infiltrator/Veteran) close to 30 hours and the second one is in progress (Infiltrator/Hardcore) and I plan to have this file my 100% completion attempt so I'll probably put hours upon hours into this one.

OT: Just finished First Playthrough doing things 'My Way' which was mostly Paragon choices.

I'm thinking I'll most likely try out Renegade next

Let's see...I just finished my first playthrough with all the sidequests, all the weapon upgrades, all collectibles, all the guns, all unique equipment, all clusters explored 100% (including star chart systems), the romance subplot with Tali, and the best ending. It took...let me check...just under thirty-six hours.

i found the plot boring, the gameplay EXTREMELY slow paced and repetitive, the characters were unlikeable and Xenophilia is REALLY not me, and the only human female whos ****able shares name with a certain Evil Dead character.

and since ME2 pretty much copy-pasted that and polished the graphics a bit, it made the characters and plot even more boring and unlikeable.

as soon as i got tired of ME2, i swiftly turned to my PS3 and started playing Dragon Age again.

Three so far.

My first was the regular playthrough, on Normal difficulty, using my old imported character, a Vanguard.

My second was my Insanity playthrough, on Insanity (natch), using an alternate version of the above imported character, with the class changed to Infiltrator.

My third and final is my 'just for fun' playthrough, creating an entirely new character, a female non-imported Sentinel, on Normal difficulty, so I can relax after Insanity difficulty and mop up by getting any achievements I haven't acquired yet.
