just 1, and about 33 hours... I have other games I need to play - I'll definitely be getting back to it once I'm done with DAO, Dante's Inferno, AC2, BS2, and any other game that comes out in the meantime that I just NEED to play.

How to play twice already? I don't understand. It's a great fucking game, but it's like reading a book or watching a movie again a week after the first read. You just know exactly what's going to happen. I don't see how it could be interesting

And planning on keeping it that way

Zero. No intention to make it anymore than that.
Obvious PS3 fanboys crying on the inside are obvious.

Thanks for coming...don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.
Nah buddy. There's always a little platform called PC upon which I could play ME2 if I so chose. I choose not to.

BTW, who's calling who a fanboy, cause every post I see from you in every thread I've ever visited screams FANBOY! See it's pretty lame to call others fanboy just because they disagree with your opinion isn't it?

Protip: Your opinion is a drop in the ocean. Same as my own. Stop being so self-important.
I've never denied that I'm a Bioware fanboy. Why the hell wouldn't I be? Every game they release ranks in the 90th percentile and is a blast to play.

You, on the other hand, seem to be in complete denial of your Playstation fanboyism. It's pretty obvious as every time you post about Final Fantasy, you describe it like putting the disc in the tray is akin to staring into the face of god. The anime avatar doesn't exactly help your cause, either.
I'm gonna step in and say that though I'm not overly familar with Bioware's work, I've played both Mass Effects and Dragon Age, the three of those games, Dragon Age in particular, have been incredibly buggy. The only Square Enix title with the rendering and long load times still found in Mass Effect 2 was The Last Remnant.
Plus every main Final Fantasy was scored 90%+ too not to mention the legions of spin offs also scoring very highly.

As much as I like Final Fantasy and enjoy Mass Effect, your arguments don't really have a valid point.
In addition, having an anime avatar doesn't automatically make you a japanophile, anyone can like anime and as this site does alot of anime reviews I'm guessing most people on here like anime or japanese games at least

if you didn't do everything the first time around, or if you want to try your hand at the other alignment, or different classes/groups (the classes in ME2 are much more variant then the classes in ME1)

Put 38 hours into ME1 the week before ME2, and 50 hours into ME2 the week after.

All Quests, side quests and planets scanned, All Crew Loyal and All Survived.

Now I'm lost for what to do in my gaming, everything else feels a little shallow.

One play-through at 43 hours on Veteran. Choosing the machine-gun may have been the best choice I've made in all of gaming.

30 Hours so far on my first playthrough, I haven't even gone through the Omega 4 Relay yet. Next up is a full-Renegade playthrough, but I'll start with ME1.

2 hours. then i discovered everything but the graphics were several times worse than the first one, and that was feces as well.
Wha-wha-wha-what?! Worse than the first?! I....what? Explain, I don't understand. How can it be wórse than the first?
i found the plot boring, the gameplay EXTREMELY slow paced and repetitive, the characters were unlikeable and Xenophilia is REALLY not me, and the only human female whos ****able shares name with a certain Evil Dead character.

and since ME2 pretty much copy-pasted that and polished the graphics a bit, it made the characters and plot even more boring and unlikeable.

as soon as i got tired of ME2, i swiftly turned to my PS3 and started playing Dragon Age again.
well it is the middle ground between the 3 games, so the story is more like a rise, and the next game is going to be a huge climax, and if bioware is the company i think it is, they will let the games end, unlike bioshock who have anounced 3 more bioshock games, 3 being released by next year.

i'm on my second playthrough and i'm near the end with over 23 hours of playtime and they're different characters for each playthrough...
I've said it before, I'll say it again. If you're able to complete two playthroughs in less than 30 hours, you're missing more than half the content.
note the words different characters... this 23 hours is 1 playthrough with 1 of my characters and i haven't missed much with this i've explored about 90% of the galaxy...

103.2 hours total. About 4 playthroughs.

So far I've done Soldier, Engineer, Sentinel and Adept. About 17 hours average.
Playing through Soldier again.

Mass Effect 2 had the same effect ME1 did on me when I got it. Only worse.

I absolutely adore the game. So much fun. Cannot wait for ME3.

Just finished my first play-through Wednesday as a Paragon. Got me and my team out alive so yay go achievements. Have started play-through 2 for my "Evil" character but I think I'm going to wait a week or two to do any more... I just can't play a game twice over at such a close time without getting bored so I'll wait while I've finished some other games and come back to it when I feel for it.

Also I've noticed while reading through this the fanboy's/girls... Jeez guys/gals let other people have an opinion. Some people may not like the game, that's their opinion simple as you don't have to verbally attack any every one who didn't find the game you liked good. Look I enjoy Mass Effect 2 along with every other Bioware game I've come across so far but I can see why others may not like it and well that's up to them. Fanboy's tend to greatly put me off of a game.

I still haven't had a chance to get around to picking up the game, which is a pity as I loved the 1st one. At the moment I've got Dragon Age to complete (which I'm playing on my Mac - thank you Bioware for porting it!) and Bioshock 2. Once I do get around to playing it I doubt I'll put in more than one playthrough; I have a tendency to try and do a really full playthrough on the side of good, as I generally feel guilty about being a jerk, even to NPCs, and then, no matter how much I love a game I stop playing it.
