It'll be nice to get Liara back in a bigger role the story, I kind of missed her and her sleep-inducing voice in ME2.

For discussion's sake, do you think it will improve on Bioware's hit or miss DLC record?

I for one hope it's a little longer and more character driven than the previous DLCs.

BUT, i never was liara's biggest fan -- she just seemed way too sheepish for me and as you say, her voice was so yawn inducing.

that being said, i suspect this will be a hit -- if for no other reason than we finally get to meet (and defeat?) the shadow broker. i haven't gotten many of the mass effect DLCs, but the few that i did (e.g. operation overlord) were well worth the money.

I highly doubt we'll be able to defeat or discover the Shadow Broker's identity, or something like that. That's probably another major plot point in ME3.

It has been so long since ME2 was released, I am not sure I will care until ME3.

And then, if they part out huge parts of the story into DLC instead of giving me a fucking full game, then I might not even buy that.

I am getting pretty sick of this buy the game for full price, but only really get 1/4 of the game thing.

it's only in the US that the date is MM/DD/YYYY
the rest of the world has it DD/MM/YYYY

Day month year all good, hell even year month day is alright at a push. But the American month day year? Wait, what?

I always used to code my software to do Year/Month/Day in its save files. ...and then I'd cheat and just use that as a single string to sort by age.
