OK, so if there isn't some hot male character Bioware will feel the full force of my wrath!
You already know there is. I mean if you like guys you have Grunt. What do you think the name refers to? It's the noise he makes during the luv scenes. What's more he's allegedly the most advanced romance option in the game going by the leaks. I mean those of us after babes just have the normal array of romance options. Grunt has that whole testicular upgrade system they were demonstrating where you can find and implant new Krogan testicles in him to try and solve his impotence problems, and then once you hook him from doing so increase his "man power" by adding more testicles into his increasing number of slots, and various genetically engineered sacs you find and buy in your adventures.

I mean if your into men as either a girl or a guy, what could possibly be hotter?
I 'may', have thrown up in my mouth a little...............

Adepts are gonna be so kickass in this game. Man I'm glad I have a L60 Adept from the first game to transfer over, even if everything does get reset (which I'm sure it does). Adepts were already ridiculously powerful in the first game, and now biotics can actually kill people!
Are going to be able to kill people?

In ME1 they, next to a fully upgraded Engineer, are the most broken class in the game. Even on the hardest difficulty, you can just walk into any fight, snap your fingers and kill everything in the room.
What I meant was that the actual biotic abilities themselves are going to be able to do damage now. In ME1, there's no denying that biotic classes were amazing, but the biotic abilities themselves didn't do anything but immobilize or control enemies while you shot them in the face. In ME2, biotic abilities can actually deal damage, which is the way it should have been all along.

Mass Effect 2 has a lot more characters with a "Shoot now, ask questions later" type of personality. They'll be a great change of pace. :]

Also, she's not as hawt as Liara is/was, but she does seem to be over 9000% more awesomest.
Ehh... Samara has a better body, but Liara being a big nerd scored her big points in my book.

Ah, a worthy replacement for Liara in my squad. Now I just need a kick arse Turian.

I'm a little perplexed by the whole Renegade leanings of the new characters but Bioware said this was going to be The Empire Strikes Back of the three. Shepherd has seriously gone a bit helter skelter.

So this woman, Liara, and probably Subject Zero will be an all powerful group since I am Adept. Well that is unless they figure out how to nerf biotics so that they are not gods.

I couldn't load up the video but from the pictures she looks like a super powered cyber dominatrix and truthfully I honestly think I prefer Liara. Not that I have anything against super powered cyber dominatrix's it's just that it seems strange given that we already have a biotic character (in fact there were two, three if you count Wrex and four if you count Kaiden though in my account he's dead) I was hoping maybe we'd have a new character with a new skills sets and not just rely of bouncy blue alien boobs.

.... even though as I've said before I find aliens very sexy.

Nah, Liara had the pretty naíve and innocent look, which is totally gone in Samara. Bigger boobs? sure, but she isn't Liara. Hopefully; the sexy "I'm your slave, master" thingy will more than make up fot it.

I hope this comes out in the PS3 the same date it comes out in the 360 and PC. I want to play ME 2. As for the character trailers, I agree. It is kind of a spoiler by revealing them already before you can ever play the game.

Is it just me, or are all of the new squadmates "ruthless who do anything to get the job done"

Your team in the first game had so much personality, all of the characters. And everyone here, except Tali, just seems dull.

Tali - Quarian Engineer who has apperantly been exiled from her people and now is traveling with Sheperd to try and make things right with her people. (At least thats what I think is happening, based on her intro video)

Now lets look at the new companions:

Grunt - ruthless Krogan who stops at nothing to get the job done
Subject Zero - ruthless human biotic who stops at nothing to get the job done
Thane - ruthless assassin who stops at nothing to get the job done
Samara - ruthless asari biotic who stops at nothing to get the job done.

Seriously, how about a little variaty.
Some other guy- Pulls some Jar Jar Binks quotes to attract kids and his body provides a good wall for those bullets.

(Joking).

I would like to see a bit of comic relief or some guy that thinks before acting.

We need a party member with a personality like Joker imo, he is one of my favourite Mass Effect characters and I felt constantly cheated that we weren't able to take conversations any further with him beyond pretty much finding out he has brittle bones!

Gamespot Reveal of New Mass Effect Character [http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/rpg/masseffect2workingtitle/news.html?sid=6241567&tag=topslot;thumb;1&mode=previews]

Adding to the roster of new characters in ME2 is a new Asari biotic, Samara. She's oddly robotic compared to the other Asari we've met so far, but at the very least, we now know this -the Asari have their own version of Japan somewhere.

Cleavage-baring psychic ninja FTW!
Ah wtf!? Bring back Liara... :'(

Personally, I think It'd be better if Bioware dropped the additional cast and kept all the original squard members,

well, they could use these new allies to replace any dead ones. but I think you get my point.
At least they should keep Liara... :(

Christ, she looks like a really cool character. I love Liara and all, but damn, Samara takes the Asari to a whole new level.

So... Apart from the fact that she's an asari, how is she different from Subject Zero? One's a crazy human biotic who will do anything to complete her job, the other appears to be a crazy asari biotic who will do anything to complete her job.

And to crown it off, I don't think I want either of them on my team, thank you very much.

The only characters that are reasonable to bring back as fulltime squadmembers are Garrus and Tali. Why? Becaues everyone else could be the subject of a major plot event. Kaidan/Ashley/Wrex could die in the first game, adn Kaidan/Ashley/Liara could be the love interest of the player.

There's no point in adding team-members that some players won't be able to use, therefore we are getting new ones. I'm pretty certain that we'll be seeing a return of the old characters as temporary allies or npc's though.
