360 since I all my saves are there :p

But if Mass Effect 2 is as moddable as Dragon Age, I'll definatly be getting it for the PC later in time.

Im a PC guy, but I'd prefer Mass Effect 2 on a massive TV screen, with HD, and my lounging in an armchair.

So if you have the tricked out TV and an Xbox, then yes.

But if like me you don't. Then I guess I'll be quite happy running it on my PC.

360, played it there first. I might have been tempted by the PC doublepack if ME1 hadn't been so glitchy.

Your thoughts? I'm more of a PC gamer but I do make heavy use of my 360 as well. I played the first one on there and do like the idea of sitting on a couch with a controller.

What does the PC get over the console version that's worth noting? It could be as simple as the extra camera option that was in Dragon Age.
Whatever system you played the first.

That and the controller feels much better for 3rd person cover/shooting games.

Ever play GTA IV on PC?

Your PC is essentially on recommended specs, and if you keep your PC optimised and not bogged down by useless shit, you will have a smoother, quicker better looking game, with more responsive controls. Plus you'll get it cheaper, as mentioned above. I also find playing games on PC immerses me more, but that could just be my biased opinion.
You said your processor is your weak component, have you OC'd it?

On the 360's side, you won't have as many technical doodads to sort out. It's simpler. Also depends if you have a HDTV and/or surround sound set-up.

Since you played the first game on the X360 and the second game reads saves from that, just continue to use the X360.

I stick with PC, since my rig can easily outperform either HD console, and I like the mouse+keyboard setup more for basically any game that's not hack-and-slash or flight simulations.

I did. The port was... subpar. The duel shock 3 worked great though.

EDIT: Bioware also has a track record of having their best version show up on PC. So for anyone who hasn't played Mass Effect 1, might want to take this into consideration.

The controls were awful. You couldn't even get out of the safehouses without running into 50 walls.

3rd person games with cover and driving mechanics always feel much better with a controller.

Where as RTS and FPS are almost always superior on PC.

another good example would be rainbow six vegas 1&2

To be fair, all of that depends on the camera scheme and amount of input lag inherent to the game engine.

ME2 plays wonderfully on PC and the added accuracy from a mouse is a huge boon in combat.

I wouldn't know for GTA, since I played it with the PS3 controller.
I liked the Keyboard+Mouse combo better than both the PS3 controller and the X360 controller for Mass Effect 1.
It's more of a preference thing than anything else, but the PC always has an advantage for controls because you can play with almost anything you can ever think of (except the WiiMote... I think, maybe there's a driver for that too).

I'll be getting it for the 360, since I played ME1 on there, and my PC is not a gaming PC. ME2 would run horribly on my computer, and I think the monitor would shut itself off in shame.

I'd say go for PC. The system specs aren't really as demanding as people seem to think. My laptop can run ME1 fairly smoothly, and at Bioware's forums, their specs for ME 2 are pretty much the same, just a little higher.

My ATI M Radeon HD4330 isn't the best card by far, but it gets the job done, and runs pretty well to boot.
