OT: I just noticed on Haestrom that Quarians have red blood. Asari is purple, Turian is blue, Salarian is green, Krogan is orange.They're the only aliens that I know of that have red blood, and it may have an effect on their appearance. Tali also tries to convince Shepard that she isn't blushing (even though he wouldn't be able to tell through the mask) at one point, so their blood may have an effect on their skin tone as it does with humans. Also, I am embarrassed to have thought this through so much.
I always figured she's whatever your imagination wants her to look like. I always assumed that was, in part anyway, the reason that she is so popular apart from the whole 'sweet and innocent' thing that everyone seems to love. It's because the player can project any face they want into that mask and so she'll look different to everyone playing.
If she ever actually showed her face I think that illusion would be shattered somewhat, hence why I doubt anyone will be seeing her face anytime soon.

You sir, win at least one internet. I wouldn't know how Garrus's LI plot goes. I've never played a femshep. I just know that Tali is a hell of a lot better than any of the other options for maleshep, Jacob, Thane, or Liara. I suppose Garrus and Tali would be the best, having had a previous appearance to deepen the characters up (so as not to end up with the priiiize). Although it never made sense to me why they all have to wait until they're about to hit the game's climax(teehee) to get it on. Ok if the rest of Mass effect is anything to go by (Miranda, Doc Chakwas, Aria etc.) look like the actor that play them: Yvonne Strahovski for Miranda, Carolyn Seymour for the Doc and Carrie Ann Moss for Aria. Ok Miranda has dark hair and Aria is Blue with a squid for a head but facially they are based on the actresses. So Tali should look like Liz Sroka - which is all good, she is a major babe. I would say very pale skin - no exposure to sunlight and she seems to have either pale while eyes or they glow. Either way I think that should rest the debate, we all know Tali is a babe I just think it's a shame we dont get a sceen like we did in ME1 with Liara - blue babe sexiness - why do I always hit on the aliens first time round? maybe I have issues? although I don't think I'll be hitting on a Krogan, Vorcha or Solarian any time soon - roll on the blue chicks with the tentacles - (phew spell check wanted to change that last word - the outcome would have been very funny lucky escape for me)
