Mass Effect 2 and Oblivion both have combat systems that pretty much consist of "hit the other dude until he keels over". Dragon Age thus wins because even if it isn't the best combat system I've seen, it at least contains some depth and allows for some nifty tactics.

In general, I think Dragon Age is the better of the three games. It isn't as open as Oblivion, but doesn't feel as confined as ME2 either. It has lots of lore, but probably less then ME2 (I can't verify this, but ME2 feels like it has a meatier codex). All in all, Dragon Age is just a good game.
Don't take this as a flame, i'm genuinely asking, because i've played this game you're talking about here, and i missed the tactics part.

I haven't played Oblivion, I loved playing Dragon Age and Mass Effect, but if I was forced to choose a favourite it would have to be Dragon Age, but only just.

Oblivion's off to the side somewhere as it's a different type of game - to compare them is silly.
... But it's not. It's a Fantasy RPG, like Dragon Age Origins. Also, remember that 'compare' means to look at the similarities and the differences. Oblivion can very easily be compared with Dragon Age Origins.

Mass Effect because I actually finished it, then Oblivion because mods improve the game like... ten times, and then Dragon Age because it has a shitty combat system.

Dragon Age, because I don't like first person games where I have to use melee weapons a lot and because I don't like shooters that claim to be RPG's.

OK, so you've found one superficial similarity.

Apart from the structure, combat, skills system, world (Oblivion is open-world, DA is not nor is it trying to be), story/narrative and quest handling it's exactly the same then.

They may both be "Fantasy RPGs" but they're essentially two different genres. So to compare them is silly, because there are no similarities (bar one, very broad one).

To compare two things to examine the one very loose similarity and all the differences is pointless, and leads to people thinking that Dragon Age has somehow failed as an RPG because it's not open-world.

Out of the three games you listed, I liked Dragon Age the most. But if you had listed Morrowind instead of Oblivion, then Morrowind would win hands down. Morrowind is one of my all time favorite games. I still play it. Dated graphics aren't even an issue, there are enough mods to make the graphics as good as some modern games.

Mass Effect 2 by a mile. One of my favorite games of all time. Dragon Age is pretty good, and I never really liked Oblivion.
This. Dragon Age is good too, from what I've seen, but with poor combat and unvoiced dialogue. Oblivion is bland, with dreadful combat, stealth and AI.

Mass Effect 2 by far, although I love Dragon Age as well. I'm not a big fan of Bethesdas RPGS so Oblivion doesn't come close although it is a good game.

Well sure mass effect and dragon age have the graphics and story and SEX but unless your a fat sweating mmorpg fan jacking off to WoW now and then they're not that great. Oblivion by far has the best gameplay and I like the medieval style except that you have fireballs and healing spells which I like too. Mass Effect just makes me think of big things with large ships coming after you whenever I'm fighting reapers in infamous. And Dragon Age really just seems like a neverending quest for SEX. So yeah, Oblivion is the best in my opinion...

1. Mass Effect 2
2. Dragon Age
3. Oblivion

Mainly because I like sci-fi more than fantasy, but I liked Mass Effect more as a game, as well.

Oblivion shouldn't be on a list with ME2 or Dragon Age: Origins. A "massive" RPG with about five voice actors, copypasta graphics everywhere and general bad design choices up the wazoo? Whose brilliant idea was it to make enemies level up with you, eh? I must've missed the quest where bandits rob the Fighters Guild armory and start walking around in glass armor.

Oblivion becomes tolerable with mods, yes, but those points go to the modders - not the game itself. It's one of the rare cases where Zero Punctuation actually rather nicely sums up my thoughts on a game. Usually Yatzhee just rips into games in a way I find funny - but on Oblivion, he hit the nail on the head.

I could prolly go on to find a few more similarities, but as I said, to compare two things means to look at similarities and differences. Yeah, they may be unevenly waited [similarities and differences], but I find that the two games can still be compared.
