I'm just glad Garrus will be there. He was my favorite, IDK why but I always like the funny sarcastic smartass characters. Just gives the game that extra humor factor. I also hope Tali is back she was my fav female character, but my god I hope ashley is gone......Did NOT like her at all, thats why I chose to get in the aliens pants instead haha.

Sorry to say that, but he's in the game. Yes, he is. Like with a lot of sequels that have different routes or playable characters (for instance, Diablo or ME), developers choose only one, most basic route, neutral one.

In the aforementioned Diablo, you could've chosen Mage, Rogue or Warrior and Monk in the expansion pack. But according to lore, the one who killed Diablo was a Warrior.

That may have been true of older games, but Bioware isn't going to shortcut it. They have already said that they'll use the data from your Mass Effect save file to modify ME2, based on your actions. Even down to that annoying fan that kept wanting attention. If you ever look at the completed missions, it tells you how you completed them. That shows the level of detail they want into recording the game.

Well, I hope so. I don't want that stupid Krogan in my awesome game. Garrus all the way, man.

There's going to be another Krogan for those lovers of scale, named Grunt. He's somewhat untamed and untrustworthy. Along with the assassin Thane and badass ***** Subject Zero, Shepherd's team is looking just a tad edgier this time around.

As long as my favourite of the old characters (Tali, Wrex) are in the game, I'm happy.
I'm just hoping that I get to see Ambassador Udina after I gave the Captain the chair at the council.

I'm hoping the Rachni Queen, the superfan and that preaching Hanar are back and they remember what you did to them in the first.

I was also hoping for a more alien-like party member, like an Elcor or a Salarian, or maybe even a geth .

Last I heard ALL the party from the previous game will show up at one point or another. They'd be foolish to do anything less: fans will at least be looking for a fun cameo. And judging by the Garrus scene they've released (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/garrus-gameplay-mass-effect/58766) they shouldn't disappoint.

But if they really want to make me instantly fall in love ME2, they'll add an option to have Liara take a space walk without a helmet. I have to question their priorities if they reduce Wrex's role but stick me with that infuriatingly shallow ingenue for the whole game.

Umm. Wrex was cool and everything, but it's not gonna kill the game if he's not in it. Besides it's Bioware, they always have at least one sarcastic character in there games.

Also Wrex will never replace Hk-47 in my heart!

I have to say I never had any needfor Wrex in my party. I spoke to him during the off-mission sections but nothing else.

Besides variation is good, and it'll be nice to see other characters in the new one. Would be quite nice to have Tali back though, I liked her.

I never used him either (apart from his side quest)
I have no problem with him, but find that he dwarfs a female Shepard and I can't 'see', myself just Wrex's huge head!
Liara was the most useful party member imo (and Kaiden) especially as the fastest way through that last fight is with a biotic heavy team. I quite liked Tali, but not as much as Liara.

This is the exact reaction a guy from Bioware was talking about in a recent interview I read. The character's will have personalities as well, not just be fond of hitting things.

I loved Wrex too, until Ashley stabbed him in the back (with a gun). Move on man... I've had to, just move on...

I never really played with him. I heard some guys had him pretty ove rpowered by the end of the game.
