I am actually ok with them expanding on the ending they already made. When previously I would of been pissed if they actually changed it due to fan outcry.
I think this should have been announced the first week, not a full month after calling us entitled whiny vocal fanboi minority.Fappy said:Check it out. [http://news.ea.com/portal/site/ea/index.jsp?ndmViewId=news_view&ndmConfigId=1012492&newsId=20120405005304&newsLang=en]

In case you don't follow the link it explicitly states it will be free. EA giving out something for free... today's one of those rare sorts I presume.
It was their acquisition and subsequent annihilation of all that was good about Westwood that started my hatred of the company. Since then they've only managed to increase that over and over. At one point I had hope they were on the right track to improving as a company. Then they took that hope, blew their noses into it, crushed it in their hands and threw it into a fire. Awesome."

I feel like this is a poor attempt at pacification that will, sadly, probably work. I can say for sure that I won't be buying any additional ME3 DLC, and any new BioWare games will be bought once the price drops significantly. Or used. Probably used.
That and my eternal hatred for EA will continue to burn brighter than the fires of a thousand suns. But that's nothing new.

So they make one mistake (the ending) and then FIX that mistake (at least partially) for NO COST TO YOU (and lots of work for animators and writers ect) and they can go fuck themselves. Wow...ok sorry, what was it you were saying about 'entitled whiny vocal fanboi minority'?boag said:I think this should have been announced the first week, not a full month after calling us entitled whiny vocal fanboi minority.Fappy said:Check it out. Bioware can go fuck itself and disappear for all I care now.
I had forgotten about NOX, probably because of how forgettable the game was.Elmoth said:They made Nox, right?
Sorry, can't help you fix your car. Saving a magical kingdom at the moment, brb.
This for all the people who said that changing the ending would not be compromising artistic vision. This is straight from the horses mouth, they had to sacrifice their vision, in order to appease so many irrational people, If they had to strike a balance, they had to compromise the vision to make a balance for the players. With the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut we think we have struck a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team's artistic vision
I prefer the magenta ending.Skillswords said:which DLC ending will you choose? orange, purple, or yellow?
Don't worry, I bet you the Biodrones would find something bad about this new ending too, they are never satisfied.JoesshittyOs said:B-but... What do we complain about now?
the fact that the ending will STILL be shit.JoesshittyOs said:B-but... What do we complain about now?
