I find it funny how every week the bioware social network (and apparently now the escapist) gets flooded with complaints that bioware suck because they didn't give them their pack, when really it's just that people can't seem to bloody read the post that tells them when the operation finishes.

Geth Engineer with a Revenant and inferno turret is like a long range, ambulatory, meat grinder. At least up to silver difficulty.

I have not managed to succesfully complete a gold difficulty map yet though because I suck to much.

I've found the new maps are a bit too easy. I like them but playing with random people we're finishing in around 17 minutes instead of the usual 20. I'm not complaining but they don't see that challenging. The most challenging thing about Condor is getting to kill something before everyone else has.

Don't know what it is but it seems the enemy always appear where I'm not covering (yes, I know that it intentional spawns away from players). What I mean is there will be 2 team members covering one direction, another person somewhere else and I'll be facing the other way covering a different spawn point. And they always get first crack at each wave.

I've only played with random people and any attempt to do Silver has ended in disaster. Anyone had any luck going for Gold with strangers?
I pretty much always play Silver and Gold these days, and it isnt too hard to complete them with strangers, mainly just when you enter a lobby have a look at their class and level and wonder if they could be an asset to the team.

Oh and play on Firebase White, that map is the easiest by far to complete Gold matches on, even in a stranger filled lobby with no mics, I can still finish a Gold match 7/10 times

Honestly if something works really well in Silver it will usually work well in Gold (With the exception of Vanguard Charge/Nova combos). Bronze however is a terrible way to judge the worth of a Strategy though

Yeah, it's pretty much a gamechanger. Now it's "fight like a Krogan, run like Krogan, fuck the leopard".

Solo? Impressive. Best I've done is complete a gold challenge against Geth with two people, a Krogan Vanguard en a Geth Infiltrator (me). Using Hunter Mode plus mics makes for excellent strategic coordination.

Cool story, bro.

I'm aware that I didn't read the Operation: Resurgence blurb thoroughly enough, thank you for so rudely pointing that out. I was merely asking the community if they had received their Resurgence Packs yet or if something else needed to be done in order to "unlock" the pack.

Now I know the real deal. Good day.

Has anyone else here has connection issues with the pack? I never finished a single game yesterday and by the end of the day the game wouldn't even load properly for me. There have been complaints on the forums, just interesting to see that no one here has mentioned it so far. I continually disconnected by wave 3-6, and then as the day wore on the game wouldn't even load before it would bug out with a "connection down" message. and the title screen would freeze. (I'll figure it our and fix it myself, can't view the Bioware forums at work, though. Odd that I can come here, though.)

Am hoping for a Geth Engineer though. Funny how I almost exclusivley play Engineers but haven't managed to unlock any of the characters for it, while I have most everything else.

Let me tell ya...the Geth Engineer has quickly become my new favorite class.

Geth Turret: Frickin' Awesome.
Geth Hunter Mode: Frickin' Awesome.
Overload: Always has been Frickin' Awesome.

I'm still lookin' for my Geth Infiltrator, but my Geth Engineer with a Geth SMG (already got it to lvl 7...pretty sure that's gonna be my first lvl 10 weapon, the game keeps throwing them at me!) is a powerhouse. I used to steadily come in 2nd or 3rd (not that it matters), with my Human Infiltrator I could steal a first place every now and then. Every time I play my Geth Engineer I've gotten either 1st or 2nd...mostly 1st. :p

Captacha: Tear Us Apart
:p That's what my enemies say when I rock out with the Geth Engineer.

The catch is that I don't think it guarantees to unlock something you haven't unlocked yet. So when you get your pack on Tuesday(?), there's a chance you'll just get another Geth Infiltrator card.
If that's the case I'm in for some qq. I only have ONE character to unlock, quarian engineer, and have held off buying any more packs until I receive the resurgence reward in the hopes that the reward will be the only xenos i'm still missing.

Not really sure on my opinion of the new maps; beaten both of them on gold, but the layouts aren't very favorable to biotic heavy characters (not many good choke points were you can abuse biotic explosions). Actually, they seem to really favor infiltrators/anyone sniper focused or good vanguards.

Somehow I doubt you'll get Quarian Engineer from the pack. I got the impression that the pack would only contain characters added by the DLC.

I honestly hate them, even as an Infiltrator. On the normal "kill everyone" rounds they're fine, but I feel like the computer terminals are all located in places that aren't particularly defensible. Ditto for the landing zones. Maybe I just got bad teammates though - entirely possible.

Trust me, it is worse when you are a sentinel who relies on warp/throw (especially when people seem out to kill anything you just warped and set up to explode...).

Then again, I dislike the "reach these 4 beacons" challenge on any map and any difficulty .

I've already unlocked the Batarian Soldier and the Geth Engineer, but what I'm hoping for is the Geth Infiltrator or Asari Justicar.

I've only just started playing the multiplayer though (after finishing three full campaign playthroughs) so I've only just hit the point where I've maxed out all of my basic equipment and am moving up to veteran packs. It's going to be a while before I can reliably purchase Spectre packs so whatever I don't get for participating in Operation Resurgence will likely stay locked for a while.

Yup, completed both Hydra and Ghost with strangers on gold, however for the most part I seem to be paired with morons that think a level 8 Turian soldier can totally contribute to a Gold match.... Not that I'm bitter about that or anything.

Oh, I definitely trust you. I usually play Silver, which is where I use my Infiltrator, but when I get the urge to play a little bit of Gold I primarily play an Asari Adept focusing on Warp/Throw explosions. It pisses me off to no end when the rest of the party sees a mob turn blue, then they all disengage their current targets to switch to the blue one. Infiltrators seem to be the worst about it.

I've tried Warping the most threatening targets to explode, and it didn't matter. I've tried Warping less threatening targets to explode and get the more threatening ones caught in the blast... didn't matter. I've tried Warping mobs in the center of a large crowd... didn't matter. I've tried Warping mobs in the very back of a crowd... didn't matter. No matter who I Warp, apparently in the eyes of the rest of my party, Infiltrators in particular, that blue glow is nothing more than a big "SHOOT ME!" sign. Nevermind that by killing the target I could have exploded, there are now six more targets closing in to overwhelm us with full health that would have been severely wounded or outright killed by the blast.

There was a level 1 quarian infiltrator that thought gold was a good difficulty. I didn't realize she was the leader of the round until after I had readied up and the countdown was at 2 seconds. Which I couldn't react fast enough. We got to round 2, after having to revive the quarian some 30 times.

As for what I've gotten, I've gotten the Geth Infiltrator and only him, I've actually gotten him twice thus far, and 4 Geth SMGs. And I don't like the Harpoon gun, just not a fan. But I hope to get Asari Justicar, Krogan Vanguard, or Batarian Sentinel.

As a Batarian Soldier, I barely survived a Gold match against Geth. Quite intense, but our little bottleneck position saved the day.

I will admit that I have a very bad habit of shooting any sabotaged geth in the head on my infiltrator... I am a bad person.
