So I just read a news article at: http://www.hngn.com/articles/27752/20140331/mass-effect-4-news-executive-producer-teases-new-tech-for-upcoming-title-no-promises-but-the-words-space-nuns-were-uttered.htm
For those who don't want to go to the link, here's the tagline:
Hudson took to his official Twitter account to explain how far the gaming studio's technology has progressed since their last installment.
"Milestone review meeting on our new IP project. Just blown away by the new technology and content on display. This team is amazing," Hudson wrote. "And, no promises, but the words "space nuns" were uttered."
I really don't know how I feel about any of this. Clearly, Hudson is being facetious, though I can't say I trust him that much anymore. In all fairness, such a drop in the bucket of information is all but meaningless.
As for the "space nuns," I am picturing the violent, rough-and-tumble nuns from a scifi novel I read by Simon Green (Deathstalker). It was a pretty good series, and said nuns were not much different from Asari Justicars, so it isn't as if I'm opposed to the concept.
Just putting it out there. I firmly hope BW can recapture the magic again, but I'm not willing to dig into my wallet until well after they've proven themselves. Sad thing is, if all of us take that approach, they may never recover, though that would hardly be solely the fault of the consumer.
