So I just read a news article at: http://www.hngn.com/articles/27752/20140331/mass-effect-4-news-executive-producer-teases-new-tech-for-upcoming-title-no-promises-but-the-words-space-nuns-were-uttered.htm

For those who don't want to go to the link, here's the tagline:

Hudson took to his official Twitter account to explain how far the gaming studio's technology has progressed since their last installment.

"Milestone review meeting on our new IP project. Just blown away by the new technology and content on display. This team is amazing," Hudson wrote. "And, no promises, but the words "space nuns" were uttered."

I really don't know how I feel about any of this. Clearly, Hudson is being facetious, though I can't say I trust him that much anymore. In all fairness, such a drop in the bucket of information is all but meaningless.

As for the "space nuns," I am picturing the violent, rough-and-tumble nuns from a scifi novel I read by Simon Green (Deathstalker). It was a pretty good series, and said nuns were not much different from Asari Justicars, so it isn't as if I'm opposed to the concept.

Just putting it out there. I firmly hope BW can recapture the magic again, but I'm not willing to dig into my wallet until well after they've proven themselves. Sad thing is, if all of us take that approach, they may never recover, though that would hardly be solely the fault of the consumer.

Aren't justicars already basicly space nuns?
Nah, Justicars are Jedis
Yeah, but Jedi are monks, i.e. female Jedi are nuns, therefore if Jedi = Nuns and Justicars = Jedi, then Justicars = Nuns.

Bioware has been on a fast track to irrelevance for a while now since all the actual talent has left the company, and people like Gaidar and Hudson wouldn't know good writing from a hole in the ground. It doesn't help that those people don't recognize constructive criticism and insist in shoehorning their "Social Justice Warrior" agenda into everything. In short, I have no hopes whatsoever left for Bioware. If they think that "new technology and content on display" can make up for terrible writing, well, at least their new games would be good for a laugh.

Not too sure about this, then again I'm always a sucker for a Bioware game, also Harry Dresden is the shit

Hudson can go get fu**ed,

It was his meddling that ruined ME3 IMO and the fact that he is still involved in the series is a slap in the face of the fans

Hearing 'space nuns' and Mass Effect in the same sentence makes me cringe... (yea, I just cringed writing that.) Sorry but 'space nuns' just sounds goofy. Like some corny B movie sci-fi flick. Yes technically Justicars are technically space nuns, but at least don't call them that! =/

Also, it's just a bunch of talk about how awesome the things they're working on are. That is STANDARD interview talk for any upcoming game so basically this little bit of info was pointless. Actions not words. SHOW us how great something is rather than talking about it.

I don't know why Hudson is still employed there. I figure Bioware has one good fuck up left before they get buried by public opinion and I can see Hudson going for the hat trick.

is this actually related to Mass Effect 4? I read a tiny hint of info I think on io9 that "space nuns" was for a separate game...but then obviously at this point who knows

if they do a seperate sci fi game I'd be wary but I wouldn't hold the ME3 incident against them

were it another Mass Effect game....uggghhh either a direct sequel or nothing...even then
