I would like an MMO first pl0x.
That's not going to happen. BioWare already has The Old Republic. If they made a Mass Effect MMO they would be competing with themselves.

On topic: It sounds interesting, I'd definitely get it.
That's your argument? You seem to be forgetting Turbine. They've got two or three MMOs, all running at a fair capacity.
BioWare is not Turbine. Turbine is an MMO developer. BioWare isn't. They mainly make single player RPG's. The Old Republic being their first MMO. Why would they make another MMO set in space when The Old Republic hasn't even released yet? Not every RPG needs its own MMO.

Of course not. However, Mass Effect's universe is practically begging for an MMO. There are a ridiculous number of periods in the timeline to set them in (the first Contact War, for example), the lore is already established, and besides, The Old Republic is probably going to bomb anyways.

having played both mass effect (both) and dragon age, i can't help but feel that once Bioware finishes making ME3 and DA2, the logical step should be a mass effect version of dragon age origins

its practiclly tailor made when you think of it
in dragon age you have 3 races (human dwarf, elf)
way i see it, you can have up to six different races to chose from (human, asari, quarian, krogen, turian, salarian)
each with their own unique origin story
as a quarian you start on the flotila, and then go on your pilgrimage.
as a krogen, you start out with your right of passage and then go from there.
some races can have two different origins (Turian C-sec officer/rebel, or Asari mercenary/agent) depending on class choices.

hell the class system makes it even MORE clear in potential
in dragon age, you have 3 classes (warrior, rouge, mage), with a specific race limitation for dwarfs (no mage)
mass effect has 6 classes, that are divided into 3 main skill types (combat, tech, biotics)
the required division is almost absurdly easy to spot
1)humans can have all six classes
2)turians can only have combat and tech skill trees (soldier, engineer, or infiltrator)
3)krogen MUST have combat skills with optional biotic (either soldier or vanguard)
4)asari MUST have biotics (sentinal, adapt, or vangard)
5)salarians MUST have tech, and cant have biotic (either engineer or infiltrator)
and quarians are either like turians (combat and tech) or like salarians (must have tech, and no biotics)

the Mass effect universe is practically BUILT for this sort of thing.
The guys at Bioware just shat their pants.

Sounds like a great idea and I'd definately buy a game like that, although I'm a Bioware fanboy.

What about a Dragon Age version of Mass Effect? :)
Same here. I'd also love DA-like Mass Effect game. Of course, with a character that doesn't talk and all that. That would make a great game.

Why would you think TOR will "bomb"?

When I picked up Dragon Age: Origins, I expected to have a more interactive fighting experience (Like pressing the buttons to do the combat) so if Bioware were to experiment with that, I think that would be cool.

As for Mass Effect characters straying into the Dragon Age world... I dunno. I'll have to see what happens with that.

Erm, have you thought about popping over to the BioWare SN with that little idea? BioWare are famous for listening (a bit too much sometimes *shifty eyes at Hammerhead*) :)

According the the codex, there are plenty of Turian Biotics, but they're not given normal military duties like the rest. (Saren was a biotic in cutscenes but I killed him too fast in battle to see him use his biotics in battle) Turians also have mandatory military training, so they should be limited to Vanguard, Infiltrator and soldier.
There is no logical reason Krogans can't be Adepts, or even Sentinels. (There is plenty of reason why they can't be Infiltrators though) You can even meet a few Krogan Engineers when you visit Tuchanka in Space Wizards 2.
Where did it say in the codex that Salarians can't be biotics? There are a lot of Salarians who rely on simple stealth without being all gadgety, why can't they be soldiers minus the ability to wear heavy armors?

I know, happy people don't complain. Everyone I asked loved the Mako, but they won't bring up the subject, because they were happy with it. Damn whiny fans robbed me of my Mako.

I read that title horribly wrong.

"Mass Effect Orgies."

OT: As much as I'd like that to happen, I think it'd be too much for 1 game, it'd probably need to be spread out over at least 2.

QFT! *nods sagely* It was damn near indestructible, for crying out loud.
It's still in one piece on that planet, we could go and check it out, and I bet it would start first time.... *ducks out of MiracleOfSound's way*

I'd probably buy it. That is, assuming BioWare doesn't release it in an unpolished state (I'm looking at YOU, Dragon Age: Awakening).

this is gonna go bad

like two worlds bad

so yeah

really bad
How in the world do you figure? Has Bioware ever given you the impression that they would release something as crappy as Two Worlds?

How else would the comparison fit?
