Group 1: Lux

"Done?" Lux grunted. He was annoyed by the complexity of these stupid machines. "Can we leave then?"

He was now sitting on top of one of the metal crates that were stacked around the room. He was worried at first that his weight might break the thing, but was reassured at their strength after he tested it slightly. He looked over at Raven, who Yossar also muscled off when he started going through the system, listening to Sal, and let out another sigh to show the level of boredom he had hit.

"I need to kill something," he muttered to himself, as he pushed away from the crate and stood back on the floor.

Yes, and it's rather annoying. I'll admit, this is one of the only points where I'm anxious. I can feel this bit of the story falling apart, and it has been for a while, so I'm trying to push through quickly now so we can reach the next part which I'm sure will be more enjoyable.

If no responses are gotten in the next couple hours, I will likely do a large write up to the next bit so we may skip past the trivial actions and go straight to the more important parts.

I would post something but I have no idea what, me and Esten are just watching the street in good ol' fashioned, stoney, sniper-silence

Which I'm fine with. Esten and you are on watch duty and there's nothing to really do there. Sorry for kinda keeping you with that, next time we might just stick Esten on duty alone so people aren't stuck with it. I would normally through some challenge or complication or something at you while doing this so people had something to do, but as I said, I'm wanting to hurry this bit along since it'd be better to play and we have someone waiting to join as well.

I think everyone has been online at some point during the past day. Don't know how active they have been on the Escapist though. I know Axle, Captain, and Sage all have been, but haven't posted. Like I said, I may just kick the story along and assume and simply have everyone take normal and predictible reactions for their characters if nothing is really done within the next couple hours. I at least want to give a final chance to have people respond before I start taking over charcters for a short period.

I've been online, I've kind of been waiting for Axle to post something, like give an order to Yossar.

With that said I think we can move past this point and back to the base. Unless there's anything else that needs to be done.

Group 1:

Raven nodded, as Yossar grabbed the hard drives and got up. Since the system was useless without the drives that told held the information about what they should do, they left the rest of the it to wait until their return. They all walked back up the stairs to the enterance of the base.

"Are we clear?" asked Raven over the comm to Ocara.

"You're fine," he responded back, checking the streets once more. They hadn't seen a single Krogan or Vorcha pass by in the time they had been on lookout. It was possible that Blood Pack would hire outsiders to do it, but it was diving into the realm of paranoia to expect it.

With that, Raven, Lux and Yossar walked back out onto the street. They headed back to where the cab had dropped them off. Meanwhile, Esten and Ocara were busy climbing back down to street level, and joining the crowd. Once they had all reached the rendevous, they called another cab service to take them back to the penthouse.

That wasn't so hard. Raven thought to himself, proud of the initial success he had.

---

An hour later, and they were walking off the elevator onto the penthouse floor. Moloa was currently laying passed out on one of the couches, while Santius and Basara weren't seen. Raven quickly checked the bedrooms and games room for each of them, and found both of them. Again, things had gone off exactly as they should have. Lux meanwhile took advantage of the opportunity he had with Moloa, and was thinking of a way to get back at her before she woke. Esten and Ocara were engaged in a conversation, Ocara still trying to earn Esten's approval. Yossar and Raven spent their time going over each other's histories. In truth, all were just trying to pass the time, waiting for Dray and Sal to return back with a success, so they may then wait for Verahl. However Lux still only had one thing on his mind.

"Raven, why couldn't you let us stop at one of the diners! Now we have to wait for Dray!"

Dray:

Dray continued to go through the markets, searching for what he needed. It was only a few more minutes before Sal had found him. She scolded him for leaving without her. He said he was sorry and simply hadn't wanted to disturb her. She had trouble being mad at him, and quickly let it go, as Dray finished up with the list. By the time they were leaving the market, Sal and Dray were each carrying several bags in each arm. Most of them were filled with food, however, one was a smaller bag that contained a large piece of patterned fabric in it. Dray insisted they buy it for Sal, so he could try making her a new headscarf at least. Sal initial refused, but eventually caved to Dray's pressure, truthfully a little excited to see how it might turn out.

---

Dray and Sal were the last ones to return to the penthouse. Lux almost threw Dray into the kitchen when he came through the door. Dray started to unpack the groceries and started to cook up some breakfast for Lux. Soon several others were sitting at the counter beside the Krogan, eager to have another meal.

Sal meanwhile took the hard drives from Yossar. She thanked him for retrieving them, but cursed the fact that she had nothing to currently work them with. She'd have to wait until Verahl returned to discuss what he wanted done with them.

Verahl:

Verahl returned earlier this evening then last. He appeared to be fine when he walked through the doors as well. His armor was as clean as when Dray had returned it to him, except now with a few spots of grime that had developed on it, it looked perfect. The stress was still showing on his face, but the anger it appeared was beginning to fade.

He asked Dray to make him something as he passed by the kitchen. Dray tried to get a more specific answer out of him, but Verahl just told him he didn't care what it was, as long as there was a good amount of it on his plate when he returned. Sal tried to stop him as well to ask about the hard drives, but he simply said to wait until he was finished eating to bother him.

When he walked back out into the main room, Verahl immediatly headed towards the counter. A large plate of several different types of food now sat there. Dray had just prepared the left overs from the day the meal the others had eaten that night, and served it to him. There were a few different cuts of meat, some pasta, and a few buns sitting on the plate. Verahl wasted no time and started to eat right away. He didn't have time to even taste it, instead just trying to fill the emptyness he felt in his stomach. Sal sat at the end of the counter waiting for him to finish.

Moloa came up mid way through, walking out of the games room towards him, telling what happened with Xandus and Zar. Verahl hardly paid attention to her, instead just prefering to nod and say 'yes' in between bites. Moloa soon realized the futility in trying to talk with him, and walked back to the games room, annoyed by Verahl's lack of care.

By the time he finished, Sal herself was starting to get hungry. Verahl then asked her what it was she wanted. She told him once more that she had the hard drives to the cameras, and would be able to set them up, but needed a console to do so. Verahl told her to set it up on the one in his room, and the two left to set it up.

It had taken a few minutes to set up the feed, but it was set up and Ver had left to do...something. "Ha, there we go. No let's just see what we've missed..." She said as she quickly typed on the console. The recording was amazing to say the least. She quickly ran to the door.

She looked around the main room and was relived to see their was already a large screen already hooked up. She sighed with relief "Good that's one less step. Lux! Come here and help me with this." She called as the Krogan followed her into the room. After much complaining and grumbling, he moved the main monitor into the main room next to the screen. "Guys you're gonna wanna see this." She called to the rest of the group. The vid was on the screen paused on the image of the warehouse.

"Ohh sounds like something good" said Ocara, looking up from his conversation with Esten and standing as he did so.

The rest of the over-watch had been uneventful, exchanging the odd bit of conversation with Esten but otherwise remaining quiet. He'd been thankful to have it finished to be honest, he did like to chat with Esten about sniping and marksmanship but Esten was about as hard to talk to as a pissed off Drill-sergeant.

He quickly reassembled his rifle, having added another 'no-kill notch' to its barrel and sitting on the back of the coach, his feet were on the cushions but he had a great view... Apart from one problem.

"Down in front" said Ocara jokingly to Lux as he hauled the screen into the common room.

Verahl watched as the others came into the room. Most took their seats on the couches that lay in the centre of the room, turning to try and get a good view. He however stood up by the screen, wondering what exactly they were going to watch. Once everyone had found a spot to watch from, Verahl turned over to Sal.

"Alright, let's see it."

With that she started up the recording. It appeared to be normal. A few Vorcha wandering around on patrol. Suddenly a bright flash shone out of the windows. The windows quickly shattered, showering glass onto the perimeter, as smoke began to rise from the building. The audio hadn't been set up to record this, but it was clear an explosion had just occured. Before the thoughts of a possible accident even passed Verahl's mind, the Vorcha standing guard started dropping. They tried to hide but were seemingly picked off from every angle.

Snipers must have been on the surrounding rooftops. Verahl concluded, watching as the remainder tried to find some cover.

The doors to the factory opened, as a Krogan and a few Vorcha made their way out. Two Turians suddenly appeared, each dropping their tactical cloaks, firing automatic weapons at the Krogan and Vorcha exiting beside them. Fire could be seen in the doorway continuing to grow as the time passed. A few more Turians were now seen running around the perimeter, tossing explosive charges into the factory. Only a few seconds later, the order to clear must have been given as the Turians ran from the factory and back onto the streets. A few Krogan could been seen fleeing from the main doors before suddenly, the rest of the factory went up in a ball of fire, as the charges were detonated. The building collapsed, and the Krogans could be seen amongst the rubble. Once more, the Turians returned, this time, removing any survivors. The surviving Krogans were rounded up, and brought to the front of the factory. Each was held at gun point as one Turian stepped in front of them. The Turian must have been talking to them, he strolled back in forth in front of them, while the Krogans occassionally said something back. It was impossible to tell with the helmets on and the audio cut what they were exactly saying, but one of them got very angry. He shouted at the Turian, but the Turian quickly raised his pistol, and dropped him. The Krogan fell to his side, as a pool of blood started to form around his head. The other Krogans were angry, each of them giving the Turian a defiant stare. The Turian turned away though, using his hand to give an order to the others. The others promptly fired their weapons, executing the remaining Krogan. They regrouped around the leader, and were about to leave before Sal stopped the video.

Silence filled the room, as the company sat in disbelief over what the just saw. Not even a dozen of them had been able to capture and kill all the Pack that had occupied the factory mere minutes. Verahl was the first to question what they had just seen.

"Does anyone know who those Turians were?"

"Maybe, Archangel and one of his partners? He's a Turian, and they say he's a great tactician as well as fighter." Yossar suggested, " They also say he's got it out for all of the big three. But of course there are always other Turians who could do this. Blue Suns, may have even have been a Cabal, the team work was good enough."

"Quite possible, I heard rumors that he had come on this station," Verahl said, he rubbed his chin and looked at the ground, thinking of other possibilities. "I'd doubt it'd be the Suns. It just doesn't seem like something they'd do. At least not their style of doing it I mean."

"Yeah aren't the Suns more of a hire-idiots-to-do-the-hard-stuff-then-swoop-in-for-the-final-kill sorta group? Eclipse maybe? No, I don't think they hire Turians." Sal said "Maybe another smaller group?"
