The night passed, and again, Verahl was gone before the others woke the next morning. Dray cooked some breakfast up for the company, while most tried to keep themselves amused and busy until the afternoon. Shortly after Dray made lunch, Raven ordered the others to start packing up their things. Personal items were soon readied, but it took longer to pack up most of the company things. Once everything was readied, and Lux was talked out of taking the card table and half the bar with them, they called for the Salarians to return and help move the things back into the Gauntlet. After everything was secured, they returned to the room to wait for Verahl's call.
The hours passed, and still no word from Verahl. Dray decided to make some food for supper since they were leaving most of the groceries behind. He was only half way through his cooking, before Raven recieved the notification on his Omni-Tool.
"It's a motel by one of the ports," he said to the group.
With that, they all boarded the elevator. There wasn't much room with them all jammed in. Once they reached the lobby, Dray stopped.
"I'm not going to be coming with you. Verahl told me to checkout and head straight to the base when I'm done. He said he wanted to be sure I wasn't put in harms way."
Raven nodded, and the company said goodbye to him and continued to the Gauntlet. Once they were all onboard, the only sounds that were made, were those of the readying of firearms.
After roughly half an hour of travel, the Gauntlet touched down at a parking lot a couple blocks away from the motel. As they stepped off of the Gauntlet, a familiar Batarian approached the ship.
"Verahl's been waiting for you to show up," Tarnak said as he continued to walk towards them. "We spotted her from her a while ago, but we couldn't get a clear shot on her. She's still in the motel as far as we can tell."
He watched as the remainder got off, speaking again when he saw Esten step out.
"Alright, I know you, since you're the only Salarian here, you're Esten. And since you're the Turian with the mechanical eye, you must be Ocara," he said as he turned to face Ocara as well. "Verahl wants the two of you to watch from the rooftops in case she escapes. He's on that building over there. There's a ladder in the alley for you two to get up."
With that, Ocara and Esten ran to the alley way. Ready to do their part in this. A minute passed before Verahl was seen walking out of the same alley.
"Alright, now that we have observers set up to take my place, we can get this under way."
He stood in front of the company, looking over each one of them, while quickly thinking over his strategy before saying it.
"The key to this is to be quick. I want her taken down before she has any idea we're even in the building. Raven, Lux and myself will enter in the front door. We'll go to her room and take her out. If there's any complications however, I want the rest of you to have positions around the motel. Either watch the alleys or storm in on my command," he said in a loud, clear voice. "Let's keep this as simple and as clean as possible people. Questions?"
