" Verahl, does Aria know you hired me?" Yossar asked, he had wondered about how much she knew of his current situation. She had always been a vengeful person, and she might not have been happy about letting him get away so easy after how he acted in front of her guards. He suddenly realized that if she did know, that meant Verahl was probably the only thing in between him and Aria's hitmen.

Sal sat there not saying a thing seeming to be lost in thought, but behind the mask a small small was on her face. Finally, these memories will leave me alone, no more nightmares. her smile vanished. I only wish things had turned out differently, as much as she deserves it for what she's done to the company, to Dray and Zar, I wish we didn't have to do this. She thought as she listened to the others conversations.

"If you have a spare, lend it to him Santius," Verahl said. "I haven't told her of your employment, but I wouldn't be shocked if she knows. She has better things to worry about then a wayward guard. She'll make a big deal when she gets rid of you, to make an example to the others, but when you're gone, she normally sees little point in following. Better to be safe though."

He looked over the company once more, nobody seemed to have anything else to say.

"Alright, I suggest you get some rest. If anyone has anything else to ask me, or anything private they want to discuss, it will wait until later," he said as he turned to head back into his room.

I was leaving it up to see if people wanted to do anything here before I set things off. I'll be posting in a while if nothing happens to the next evening so we can wrap up the last bits of this saga or chapter or whatever you want to entitle it.

Sal nodded to Ver. "Understood boss. If anyone needs me I'll be in my room." She said to the others as she walked into her room. She sat cross legged on her bed and closed her eyes."" She prayed. While she didn't care for Mayli, which she had made quite clear, Sal still felt this was needed.

Sorry for not posting all day went to take the written portion of my drivers test today.

The night passed, and again, Verahl was gone before the others woke the next morning. Dray cooked some breakfast up for the company, while most tried to keep themselves amused and busy until the afternoon. Shortly after Dray made lunch, Raven ordered the others to start packing up their things. Personal items were soon readied, but it took longer to pack up most of the company things. Once everything was readied, and Lux was talked out of taking the card table and half the bar with them, they called for the Salarians to return and help move the things back into the Gauntlet. After everything was secured, they returned to the room to wait for Verahl's call.

The hours passed, and still no word from Verahl. Dray decided to make some food for supper since they were leaving most of the groceries behind. He was only half way through his cooking, before Raven recieved the notification on his Omni-Tool.

"It's a motel by one of the ports," he said to the group.

With that, they all boarded the elevator. There wasn't much room with them all jammed in. Once they reached the lobby, Dray stopped.

"I'm not going to be coming with you. Verahl told me to checkout and head straight to the base when I'm done. He said he wanted to be sure I wasn't put in harms way."

Raven nodded, and the company said goodbye to him and continued to the Gauntlet. Once they were all onboard, the only sounds that were made, were those of the readying of firearms.

After roughly half an hour of travel, the Gauntlet touched down at a parking lot a couple blocks away from the motel. As they stepped off of the Gauntlet, a familiar Batarian approached the ship.

"Verahl's been waiting for you to show up," Tarnak said as he continued to walk towards them. "We spotted her from her a while ago, but we couldn't get a clear shot on her. She's still in the motel as far as we can tell."

He watched as the remainder got off, speaking again when he saw Esten step out.

"Alright, I know you, since you're the only Salarian here, you're Esten. And since you're the Turian with the mechanical eye, you must be Ocara," he said as he turned to face Ocara as well. "Verahl wants the two of you to watch from the rooftops in case she escapes. He's on that building over there. There's a ladder in the alley for you two to get up."

With that, Ocara and Esten ran to the alley way. Ready to do their part in this. A minute passed before Verahl was seen walking out of the same alley.

"Alright, now that we have observers set up to take my place, we can get this under way."

He stood in front of the company, looking over each one of them, while quickly thinking over his strategy before saying it.

"The key to this is to be quick. I want her taken down before she has any idea we're even in the building. Raven, Lux and myself will enter in the front door. We'll go to her room and take her out. If there's any complications however, I want the rest of you to have positions around the motel. Either watch the alleys or storm in on my command," he said in a loud, clear voice. "Let's keep this as simple and as clean as possible people. Questions?"

"Want to do something different?" Verahl shot back. "She's no longer one of us. She doesn't get the treatment the rest of us do. If you feel different about it, speak up, but I have no plans on giving her anything proper."

Verahl laughed, and looked at Santius with a cruel, sadistic smile. "When did I ever say she was going to go out quietly?"

Raven smiled a bit at Ver's reply. At least this ***** is going to get watch she deserves and we can finally begin to get things on track. Cracking his knuckles, he moved to stand beside Verahl. "Shall we get this show on the road then? I would hate for her to feel that she was safe since we haven't made a move against her." Pulling his rifle, he waited for the go.

Sorry for the recent activity. Been getting college work done and hanging out with friends.

"Let's," Verahl said, as he climbed the ramp into the cargo bay of the Gauntlet. He put the sniper he was carrying into one of the weapons crates in the middle, and pulled a couple shotguns out. He holstered one, and handed the other one to Raven.

"We're going in loud. Best take something more appropriate then the rifle," Verahl said, still keeping his brutal grin.

Grabbing the shotgun, Raven nodded to Verahl. "How painful do you want to make it for her Bossman? Are we gonna truss her up and bring her aboard or just kill her here?" This is going to be fun...

"Put her down. Put her down hard," Verahl said slowly, enjoying each one of the words escaping from his mouth.

"Too bad she's a Quarian," Lux said laughing. "She wouldn't last long with us anyways."

Checking over the shotgun, he responded. "The people who discover the scene are definitely goin to have a mess to clean up aren't they? I'd hate to be the motel staff when we are through with her."

"What do you have against Quarians?" Sal asked looking up from her SMG to Lux. She had been quiet during the last few hours, even for her. She clicked the clip of her SMG into place as she waited for the answer.

Lux laughed, and turned and looked back at Sal.

"I have nothing against you. Problem is though if we captured her, she'd die from infection before we could finish."

A disturbing grin crossed his face, wide enough to show each of his teeth.

"They won't have much left to worry about," Verahl said as he turned to the street.

With the briefing done, Verahl, Lux, and Raven, walked down the street towards the motel Mayli was staying at. Each of them was armed to the tooth and ready to take her down without hesitation. As people saw them approach, they quickly made way on the walk for them. No one dared stand in their way. None of them could wait to get reacquainted with their old friend.

Behind them the rest of the company moved. Most walked alone, or paired with another as not to draw as much attention. Ocara and Esten watched through their scopes, laying prone on a rooftop across from the motel. Ocara normally would have made a joke to Esten about how intimidating they looked at the moment, or how they should have put Lux on a leash because he was frightening the civvies. Now though, Ocara could only watch with a smile on his face, as he regretted not being able to make the shot himself.

Once they reached the motel, the company took positions around it. A few stood in the alleys surrounding it, ready in case Mayli made it past, while the others stacked around near the entrance, waiting to breech if Verahl ordered. Meanwhile, Verahl, Raven and Lux passed through the doorway into the motel. The receptionist looked up from her console, ready to go through the normal greeting she gave to guests before she realized each of them were drawing their weapons. She sat in shock and silence, scared for her life while the few other guests standing in the lobby put their hands up and stood in awe.

"Room 118, where is it?" Verahl asked the receptionist, his fingers gently tapping the grip of the shotgun as he stared directly at her.

The receptionist squeaked, unable to bring herself to say anything. Instead she ducked under the desk and held her hand up, pointing down one of the halls.

Verahl turned to Lux and Raven, "Let's go see if the ***** is in."
