The three walked downstairs and entered the armoury. Verahl opened the security door with his keycard, but stood there momentarily after the doors had opened. He quickly remember though which box he had kept them in an walked into the centre of the armoury.
He stopped in front of a rather large, rectangular box that was rather long with a decent width. He disengaged the two small locks on the front with his hands and removed the top. Inside lay two weapons. The barrel to it was long and extended down past the trigger in a bullpulp design. There was a place to hold close to the front of the barrel, with a small bipod folded up on its sides. The trigger guard then came down close to the centre of the gun. The front of it went diagonally down, before stopping and going flat, ensuring the trigger was protected and couldn't be accidentally tripped from a drop. Behind the triggger was a rather large magazine box, it's colour a dark yellow, offsetting the rest of the guns black and gray patterning. Finally, after the magazine was the stock, which was big and thick. Verahl lifted one of the weapons out of the box, and opened the magazine up.
"This is an older machine gun, a M-297 Shredder, produced right after the implication of thermal clip technology. The magazine is very large compared to most because it takes four thermal clips to fire. This allows it to have an extended magazine to help its high rate of fire and damage, but makes it take ages to reload in the field. It was originally designed by Hahne-Kedar. Had limited production though because of it's long reload times and high recoil, ultimately leading to few buyers. Just because it wasn't popular though, doesn't mean it's not efficient. When it's fully loaded, this will provide a lot of support fire that will make anyone down range of it go for whatever cover is closest to them. Before I aquired the Revenant, I used to carry one of these. I thought at least one of you two would like them. Take them for the mission. If you lose or damage them though, it's coming out of your pay."
He then stepped to the side, leaving the box open in front of the two.
