And here we go...

Verahl walked out of his office and into the lobby of Aegis Protection's Headquarters. It was a small, one story building, on a side street near a market. On top was a small, poorly maintained landing pad for bigger ships. They kept most of thier local transport in a small chained off lot in the back though. Despite, appearing small from the outside, the interior was fairly spacious. What wasn't shown on the exterior was the number of basements the building had. It had three levels of basements unseen from the outside. The first basement was dedicated to the members of the company. Most stayed here in the barracks. There were a total of four barracks rooms, each with a complete bathroom, and made to house four people. The barracks were built into the corners of a large open foyer, a commonplace for people to talk and relax. On the second level was the armoury and storage area. Here they kept most of their weapons, and items claimed from missions. It also had a small workshop for the maintanence of the company mechs which served as security for the headquarters. Finally, the third level was much smaller then the other two. This level contained most of the equipment and utilities that the building ran on.
Verahl had a small smile on his face as he thought about the success they'd been having over the past few months. The company started off rather small at first. Initially, it had been only himself, Sindri, Xandus, Veck, Moloa, Zachariah, and Elzara, a local Asari he had hired to be his secretary to help keep himself organized and prepared. Over the months, more people joined the group, and apart from the unfortunate death of Zachariah, everything was going great. Contracts had been piling on, and now the company had a choice over which ones to pursue, instead of taking anything they could take their hands on.
He realized he had started daydreaming thouhgh, and quickly snapped out of it as he approached Elzara's desk. She looked up from a paper she had been writing on, and he told her he needed to use the intercom.
"You really need to have this placed in your office Ver, that way you wouldn't need to come over here everytime."
"I already have plenty of other reasons to come over here Zar," Ver said charmingly.
He picked the intercom up off her desk, and spoke into it. Throughout the base, speakers came to life with his voice.
"New contract everyone. You've been hired to provide security to a warehouse on the lower levels. The employer has been having some problems with vandals, and thieves recently broke into the warehouse, making off with a number of items. He suspects that they're going to be striking again tonight, and has hired us to make sure that they never try it again. The cut will be fifteen hundred credits each. You'll be leaving in 2 hours. Prepare, and if anyone has any concerns or questions, come to the office."
Verahl smiled at Elzara as he put the intercom back down, and went back inside of his office. Tonight would be another easy job, and another large amount of credits. He could really get used to this life.
