Alright, since the base has gotten stale, and I feel everyone's had a due chance to have their actions, let's move on. And sorry for the wall of text.
The company prepared for the evening's job. Each member doing whatever ritual they saw fit to ready themselves. The two hour time limit past, and the company assembled in the common room, waiting for Verahl.
Verahl soon walked down the stairs, he was looking rather stressed, and a bit offset, but quickly recapped the night's contract.
"Now if there are no other questions, I'd like to have a moment to address one thing. A lot of you seem to be on edge about this. You're feeling that we're in for more then a simple assignment tonight. Let me reassure you that this has nothing more to then what meets the eye. You guys show up, and if anyone you encounter there tries to break into the place, you put them down. Understood?"
Most of the company responded with some form of a 'Yes'.
"Alright, take the Gauntlet out there and get to work. This shift will last for the next six hours."
With that, Verahl went back to his office and the company to the parking lot. There they boarded onto the transport they had waiting there. The transport was a refitted light cargo transport, used for moving goods locally. It had two large engines underneath it's wings that could rotate to provide a vertical take off and landing. The transport had a dark grey colour to it, with the company emblem painted on it's left side, and the word 'Gauntlet' in orange on the other. Where before there would be an empty cargo bay, it had been renovated. It now had benches lining the outer walls, with containers in the centre for weapons to be held. By now, most people, except the more recently recruited, had claimed their own areas of the transport where they sat.
With a bit of a rough start, the engines kicked to life, and the transport slowly hovered over the company's headquarters before turning off onto one of the streets. From there, the transport kept flying, heading down several levels, before finally coming to a stop roughly twenty minutes later outside a warehouse in the lower levels of Omega.
The warehouse looked like a standard warehouse from the outside. It had a large fence surrounding it, and then about twenty feet of nothing until it reached the actual building. The fence stood at 10 feet tall, and was made of metal rods positioned every four inches. On the top, a large wire was positioned a few inches above. The wire was charged, and was designed to send a charge of electricty through anyone who touched it. Behind the warehouse stood a small gas area, where a few large gas containers were located. The enterance to the warehouse was a large door. The company opened it, and the door slowly slid to the side. After the door had opened a sufficient amount, the company entered the warehouse.
Inside the place seemed a bit larger. The ceiling was high, with rows of shelves reaching up to it. Large grey boxes lined the shelf walls, and at the back, a few rows of boxes lay missing. Roughly three quarters of the way up towards the ceiling, a catwalk lay. The catwalk snaked its way around the shelves, going around and through wherever there were openings, with an occassional ladder leading back to the ground.
For the next six hours, the company would have to protect this building, and ensure that it stayed in its current condition. Six hours of sitting around, 'guarding' whatever the Volus had wanted to keep safe.
