It's definitely coming eventually, I've been saying that for a while now. You don't craft a universe as rich as ME with so many different deep alien races and not branch out into RTS. If Halo can do it (a universe with less depth, by nature of its very genre), then ME can probably do it better.

Why yes, I do believe it would... Especially if you played as Harbringer, then you could ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL... That would be pretty neat, wouldn't it? Toy Soldiers did it, but I'd like to see it done in a proper title.

I dont think it would really work...I mean I guess you could have units like a Biotic, Soldier, Tech, ect. And you could have a fleet of ships and stuff, but the ME games don't really seem like they have the right things for an RTS. I'd rather see a Star Wars RTS, because at least then you have the variety. Jedi, soldiers, bounty hunters, and they've shown in battles they have tanks and what not.

If done right an RTS of anything could work.
So yes a Mass Effect RTS would be good.
Also Care Bears the RTS would be awesome.
