Master ball or no?

Backstory: im at Lugia right now on heart gold, and i got a master ball left, should i use it or not?

I want to try to save it for Requeza, but i dont know if i should or not.

EDIT: thanks for you help everyone, i got him with a dusk ball with Swampert on the field, but to change the topic, when did you use your masteball and why?

Save it! I caught Lugia last night on Soul Silver, got it down to red HP threw one ultra ball and caught it, very lucky I guess, but it can be done!

how the... you know what, im not having that sort of luck right now, i got him down to 1, count that, 1, bar of health, and wasted half of my pokeballs (And i say poke balls because i need no torlls in this topic if you get what i mean) and dident catch him >< but in fire red, i got Articuno with a fing pokeball!

This is a bit off topic but when I was a kid there was a rumour round my school that you could not catch Mewtwo without a Master ball, is this true or not?

OT: Hmm tough one, I'd save it for Requeza because I like the name more but I think is a higher level and harder to catch

OT: Hmm tough one, I'd save it for Requeza because I like the name more but I think is a higher level and harder to catch

its hard, but my girlfriend got mewtwo without the master ball, she spent like 30 minutes doing it thought...

And i just Got Lugia with my last Dusk Ball, thanks everyone

Lies. I've caught a Mewtwo in a Pokeball. Original Red/Blue had such weird pokeballs in the first place...(Either they worked a ton or there was a master ball trick)

As for the topic, I say save it personally. Though Rayquaza is gonna be about the same difficulty to catch percent-wise.

I never use my Master Ball on anything unless I run out of regular Poké Balls. Usually it just sits in the bag gathering dust.
