Yes, blame the mentally unstable guy with anger issues that two stunned cunts penned him behind the counter and tried to assault him verbally and physically because they had a counterfeit $50 in their purse.

That makes so much sense.
Yeah, you're so obviously right. Now that I think about it the only way he could have handled that situation was to beat the women mercilessly with a metal stick, it was so obvious I don't know how I missed it. Give this guy a raise, not jail time!

Luckily the law does not agree with the internet. Using a deadly weapon against an unarmed opponent is very, very much illegal, and I sincerely hope he gets locked up and the key thrown far, far away.
That's a little bit harsh for a guy who had a history of violence, and therefore has serious impulse control problems.

In the video, he's obviously trying to walk away from the women to prevent conflict, ad the women corner him to continue their assault.

Even the MOST reserved human being would react violently when their physical well-being is threatened, especially if there's no way around the situation. Given this guys violent history, the stunned cunts are lucky he didn't beat them to death.

This is another perfect example of 'You never know who you're fucking with'. My best advice in any situation like this is "So don't fuck with people, because there's a good chance they'll beat you to death"
Yeah, because I think people with histories of violence and serious impulse control problems deserve my pity. /internetsarcasm

The point is, you are not allowed to retaliate to non-deadly force with deadly force. In other words, no matter how many times you slap me in the face and call me an idiot, it is not okay for me to take out a gun and blow your head off. Mitigating, maybe, but not okay. It truly concerns me how many people seem to think that this behavior is okay/warranted in the situation. Yes, he was provoked. It doesn't mean that gives him the right to nearly beat an unarmed female to death.

And btw, he's going to have a hell of a hard time claiming self-defense, given that she's much smaller than him and had no weapon. But yeah, slapping him and getting up in his face totally warrants a vicious beating with a deadly weapon while co-workers try to pry him off and other customers are screaming, panicking, and calling the cops. Totally sounds like he's the victim here.
Oh man, I've always wanted to do this!
I am going to respond to a comment, with another comment!
I am truly excited for this, because I have wanted to do this for a long time :D

Funny how people seem to find themselves somehow capable of determining what is "deserved" in situations like this. "This is overkill" "this is excessive" ...*shrugs* Whatever... I'm not one to determine what was "called for".

What I do know is this; if you're going to strike another human being, a stranger, whom you have no earthly idea if that person is Mr Wizard's Mild-mannered clone or an escaped mental patient with a boxblade and a thirst for human organs, you opened your own can of worms, fucking deal with the consequences, crybaby. Didn't want to get beaten down with a 'metal rod', probably shouldn't have assaulted the poor shmuck working at McDonalds in the first place. Be glad he didn't have a gun you damn idiots.
Also, this is the first time on a serious issue that I've been able to do this, silly threads do not count.

Really, guys? Slapping someone means you deserve to get beaten with a metal rod?
Go fuck yourselves.
Dude, calm down.
If you've seen the video, you will see the women doing more than just slapping him.
And you will see that the metal rod is not a lead pipe, it is a thin metal rod.

and what have the coworkers get fired over it? you know theyd get fired for even touching her
They wouldn't get fired for touching a customer if she is acting hostile towards them
yes they can, youre not allowed to even look a customer in the eye without their permission lest you get a beatdown for making the customer mad
I'm pretty damn sure that if they're attacking a coworker, you're allowed to restrain the customer. If not, too bad, they should be doing it anyways.

I just love how you rationalize the situation from your own perspective.

He's MENTALLY UNSTABLE. You can't say 'he could have acted this way' simply because his brain doesn't work that way.

If you want to hold ignorant, self-righteous opinions, at least try to form them in a NON-personalized way. That way, at least, you're justifiably self-righteous.

The metal rod was overkill. Too much which is why he's paying for it.

He kept whacking while they were down! I didn't see them get up so I'm pretty sure they were out cold. And that chick was yelling at him to stop. Yeah, that was the problem.

Those women stopped being a threat a while ago.

And you saw how long it took the other woman to walk around the counter? Had he stayed in that area instead of moving, he'd have had some ample time, I think to maybe manhandle the jumper, possibly toss her back over before her buddy even got to where they were.

He should be in an institution, getting help with his obvious mental issues, not in prison, making them FAR worse than they are now.

Surely they'll be looking into institutionalizing him quite aggressively this time, being that this isn't his first horribly violent offense.

Okay, I'm calling bullshit arrested part. I may not know retail, but I know law and restraining a dangerous individual is not against the law.

And I don't care. If I was the manager of that area, I would not fire that person and I have a feeling that the shift leader (Who is standing right there in the red) probably wouldn't fire them in the end either. In a normal situation, you cannot touch a customer. This however, is not a normal situation.

It was definetly overkill with the metal rod, but they attacked first and proceeded to get up close to him. Was self defense in my opinion... until he kept hitting them in spite being down. We didnt see what they did behind the counter though.

And you think he should be put in prison, with the key thrown far, far away, letting him absorb the violent atmosphere that EVERY prison on the planet produces, in the hopes that he will, somehow, come out of it rehabilitated?

Or is this genuine interest in trying to get him help?

Are we watching a different video?

There were 2 women. Which co-worker tries to "pry" him off?
