I knew a guy who had the three best cat names I've ever seen. They got a white cat, and called him Gandalf. Then they got a black cat, and called him Vader. Then they got a gray cat, and called her Morpheus.

Geek trifecta.

How about random Spanish names put together?

Juan Miguel Fernandéz Ruiz de Aragón!

.... No? ah, oh well..

Easy names then; Psycho, Mr./Mrs./Ms. Mittens, Darunia and.. I don't have any others at the moment.

One of my cats is called Java... After the programming language O.O

We also considered naming them Ruby and Pearl, but my brother wouldn't have it (yes, geeky, I know, but what can I say, both me, my mum and my dad are into programming O,o )

Our first cat (now dead) was named Pepsi

I've always wanted a cat named Meow Zedong, or Mr Crawford (but with a chinese pronouciation).

A cat will typically name itself through its behaviour (stalker, pouncer, etc), but sometimes it is required you go further afield. My cat is named Murloc, because whenever he decides it is playtime or violence time, he makes a noise similar to the murlocs in WoW (which can be extremely disconcerting at 3am). Those damned little furballs have far too much intellect and personality. Actually, more than most people I've met.

and their cuteness is almost illegal :D
the funniest thing was that when my brother and i played on the ps, it'd come around and start playing with the cords connecting the controllers and it would somehow disconnect the cords and that would happen like every 10 mins or so. the only way we could really play was to keep it on your lap and then it'd stare intently at the tv screen.

Bwahahahhahaha!!! My cat attacks anything that moves on screen, so playing console games has cost my tv more than half its sharpness. Not that I mind, my lil furball is too adorable for me to ever get mad at.

I have a Burmese-Devon Rex named Mischa, and she is pretty durable, but ultimately, I've not seen her (or any other cat i've owned) do anything that could really be a worry to them.

As for naming yours, I usually like using words in other languages, or mythology, but frankly Chairman Meow is the best you could ever do.

Whatever you name it, please, please do us all a favor and don't contribute to the "Lolcats" fad.

Oh, and I'd second Jovlo's suggestion of Schrödinger.

my cats eat wires all the time, but for some reason, my father will not buy any of that syrup that make them taste bad. They still chew on them, but they haven't gotten hurt yet. I thank god for that.
