I don't own any pets at the moment because I'm hardly ever home, and sometimes go days when I'm not here. So even a cat won'\t be able to survive me not being here to feed it.

I'm a guy, and know a few guys who have cats. They're about as normal as the next guy...who has a dog.

I wouldnt say weird, but cats are usually seen as the more femmine house pet and dogs the masculine. Im not sure why this is though, its just stereotype

Dogs are annoying, I prefer cats. I've had mine for 18 years now. They're adorable (Yes i'm a guy who says adorable...) and they're alot less stressful, at least to me anyway. Anybody who thinks that's weird, or in the case of the OP, anybody who says those things about dudes with cats, are dumbasses. I mean seriously, are people that bored with life that they have to discriminate on such a trivial level?
