Hello mates! Do you have somekind of mental instability? and if you do how do you handle it? Or do you have somekind of "contact" with somebody that suffer from a mental instability?
I know this questions are a bit odd but I'm mostly asking cos' two days ago I got diagnosed with that I'm a sociopath, I suffer from post traumatic stress and I got some "version light" of schizofrenia. I really don't bother any of the 3 things, I really couldn't care less really but it got me thinking how others handle and live with their mental instabilities.
I also hope you don't feel offended by the questions, have a good day.
"Sociopath" isn't in the DSM-IV and I don't think it's in the Euro equivalent either. I'm curious as to what they actually told you. What event do you supposedly have PTSD from?
Are you a sociopath? Are you not acquainted with Jiminy Cricket? Is that why your avatar is nazi love?
Why don't you read about skinheads and you'll know? Real skinheads are not Nazis, they who are are idiots, same for the other political skinheads like SHARP and RASH. case closed.
And now back to subject:
They told me that the way I act towards others and how I look at my relations to other humans are correct to the
mind of a sociopath, I personally have hard trusting others no matter what role they got in my life and I see everybody as traitors and I don't have any symphaty with other humans no matter who they are also I look at other humans as consumable, no matter in what way. And that's just the begining, theres a lot more to it, but I'm not discussing that...
And
who the fuck is Jiminy Cricket?
I truly found all of that insightful until I got to the end. That is priceless.
Jiminy Cricket is the character from Pinocchio who serves as the conscience. I dated a woman who
was a sociopath, and Jiminy came up quite a bit in reference to her, or rather his lack of presence in her life. I doubt, based on what you've said, that you're truly an antisocial personality. You may have problems trusting other people, you may even try to screw them over in anticipation of being screwed by them, but this alone is not enough for me to consider you a sociopath. I could be wrong, of course, but the sociopaths I've met would never ever discuss their condition, or even acknowledge it, and they felt an extreme sense of superiority over all of us conscience-bearers. They would be incredibly offended by the mere idea that the psyche community or anyone else would have a name for them.
