Get that project in. I know playing Call of Duty with your friends is important right now, but you won't remember those people three years down the line.

Hey, guess what?

You finally finish FFVIII. After so many years, you will feel like god, not even kidding.

"Dear 14 year old me:
Disregard girls, yes ignore them, leave them alone, because you get the wrong impression from them, you know what i mean. go...do something else while you wait, and quit being a romantic, it doesn't work.

get a grip and grab you life together, it'll get better, eventually.
[Insert inspiring motivational quote]

see, does that make everything better?

Sincerely, 18 year old me"

Invest everything you have into Wal Mart and Google. Also make sure to keep your money in a credit union, and not a bank.

Dear younger me,

If it wasn't for you, I would not be the video gamer I am today. It's because you are I have something to coup with the bulling and shit you had to go through.

Also, I know I thought the days in the hospital and nights in braces because I could not walk straight was bad..but I'm better because of it. I can walk straight now and I am thankful for it.

Love, Sarah.

Don't give up auditioning for drama school just 'cause your first ever auditions didn't work out so well. Try again next year. Otherwise you'll end up stuck in a job and home situation you don't enjoy at all. Don't give up your dream. And if you don't succeed at getting in anywhere again, try again.

An article in The Big Issue entitled 'Letter to my younger self', where they have famous persons write letters to their teenage selves, got me thinking - is their anything you'd like to turn round to your younger self and say?

Mine would be:
(To myself, aged 15) "Don't even try it, chum. Once you've done it once it's much harder to stop yourself from doing it again. Get as far way from it as possible - now."
To me at 18: Don't go out with her, it will destroy you.

To me at 19: Don't go sleeping around, it will not give you what you're looking for.

To me at 21: Don't break up with her (another her), she's perfect for you, she could be the one.

To me yesterday: Don't wear those shoes, your feet are going to kill in the morning.

There is an awesome prom dress your mother won't let you buy. DIsregard possibility of getting in trouble and buy it anyway because it looks awesome on you and you're going to want to have it around in college.

And when given free xbox live time, don't add anyone who doesn't add you.

Dear 5-7th grade self,

You know what man? Everything gets awesome you get a few girlfriends, some of them will hurt but totally worth it, I currently have one for a couple of years now. Also stick with video games as the years go on you're gonna amass a hell of a collection. Couple of warnings, stop being so damn lazy trust me it works being lazy but you'll save yourself some headaches. So basically it all gets better buddy :)

dear me 3 years ago:

Dont go to devry, they are not really a ripoff but its just not the school for you. Stay in the gym and go to school when you feel ready for it.
