I notice you like High On Fire, who are very good indeed. The singer/guitarist of HOF is also the guitarist of Sleep, Matt Pike.

You might like another band formed from the ashes of Sleep too, Om. They're just bass and drums, but it's very hypnotic.

You sir, have good taste indeed.

Too bad Hakius left Om, Amos didn't really convince me at all, saw them live a bit after Hakius left.

But anyways, Kyuss, HoF, Mastodon, Om, Sleep, are all quite sublime.

Here's a few that aren't really metal, but fall to the stoner genre..

I like a lot of metal. Lately I'm on a serious death metal fling- listening to some Bloodbath right now- but I listen to a lot of progressive metal, as well as some thrash, metalcore (not a whole lot), some generally extreme metal, a spot of sludge (MASTODON) and both New Waves of metal.

Right now, my favourite metal bands would be Opeth and Mastodon. Loving both of them.
