Most recent doomsday scare debunked by coastal scientists
For those of you here a few days ago, you will remember a thread discussing the possible doomsday theory of the methane bubble in the gulf due to an influx of methane (and other) gases and whether or not you should be shitting yourself right about now.
Fortunately for us, science has come along and put our worries to rest.
"I wouldn't believe that at all," Gregory Stone, director of the Louisiana State University Coastal Studies Institute, told us. "There are a lot of press out there in regards to this event that is just inaccurate. We have got some of the best scientists in the world here, and we are not concerned about that scenario at all."
So for now, we can all just relax. That is until another doomsday theory shows up round the corner.
