More than likely he will treat the turtles as a side plot in favor of having US soldiers come in and fight aliens or meteors

No he'll go for a "realism" angle and the "Turtles" will be the codename for an elite Army Rangers unit sent to fight an African terrorist militia. The Africans will, of course, be played by white actors in black face.

Why bother when you can find videos like that for free on youtube? If I'm going to spend my time and money on it, I'd rather it be mentally engaging instead of having it treat me like my attention span is so short that I won't stay for the whole movie if there isn't an explosion or a titty every 5 minutes...which is basically why I cannot stand fanservice anime. I hate, hate, hate being treated like an idiot by writers who are too lazy to produce anything more complex than an amalgamation of cliches.

Same here. What's more, I'd actually start watching TV again for this, and I haven't done so in almost 10 years now. Less pseudo-intelligent comedy and more knob gags, I say! Sometimes less is more!

Didn't he do The Rock? That was one of my favourites. Granted the rest of his movies are shit. I ain't defending the dickmuncher, but I guess he isn't a TOTAL fail in some ways.
