I did not understand a word she said but she's so wholesome
But my goodness the accent was so thick its painful to listen.

No offense to Japanese people trying to speak another language.

okay John Wick is here, and he walks in like he's a fucking Rockstar at a concert. okay
Not watching, but what was he announcing, some action game? A John Wick game!? That would be pretty damn cool.
He's a character in Cyberpunk 2077.

Just a reminder to everyone Keanu is a terrible actor. Great guy from his reputation, but he's one of the worst actors out there. Much Ado about nothing, Bill and Ted, the Matrix, hell even John Wick...just terrible. If he's in this, this ain't no masterpiece, its a 50s B-SciFi movie like Planet of the Vampires, Santa vs the Martians, or hopefully Plan 9 from Outer Space

Watching Bethesda presentation rn; Here are my thoughts so far

Elder Scrolls Blades: Don't care
FAllout 76: Was excited until battle royale. No Thx
Ghostwire Tokyo: Actually looks interesting
ESO: ehh
Captain Keen: Cringy af. Did not look like Sat. morning cartoon; More like a lame PBS Kids show
Elder Scrolls Legends: Don't Care
Rage 2 Expansion: Kinda hilarious. Gameplay looks chaotic
Wolfenstein Young Blood: Looks really fun. It's actually coming out on my birthday!

Will update continuously

Bethesda E3 Showcase - Quick and dirty opinions
Ghostwire Tokyo - One hell of a trailer. Can't wait to see gameplay
Wolfenstien - Looks neat. I've never played a Wolfenstein game, but what I've seen has been great
Deathloop - Trailer looked amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing some gameplay
Orion - Okay, my interest has been peaked. If that Doom gameplay on the phone was real then holy hell, that is impressive.
Doom Eternal - Looks like more Doom. I really ought to play the first game.

I'm surprised there was no Starfield or Elder Scrolls 6, unless they were shown off at the start of the stream, which I missed.

I question whether there was a screaming guy and it was something like a laugh track.

Shit

I thought cyberpunk 20777, from the makers of fantasy mercenary with a garbage disposal full of rocks voice, was going to be the next citizen kane

Fuck
I know right? The way they had literally every single character saying "fuck" like it was their vocabulary word of the day really had me thinking that it was going to be high artistic Shakespeare quality writing.

Alright, thoughts:

-The Outer Worlds: Looks okay
-Cyberpunk: KEANU! I like he's being played as a hardass. He's highly underrated at that type of character
-Phantasy Star Online 2: HOLY MOTHERFUCKING SHIT! FINALLY!
-Project Scarlett: -hears them blab on and on about computer engineering lingo and "power"- THE LAST TEN YEARS HAVE TAUGHT YOU NOTHING!

-Ghostwire: Looks neat. Also, can we have Ikumi Nakamura as Todd's replacement? Pretty please?
-Wolfenstein: Fuck yeah
-Deathloop: Cool
-Doom Eternal: GIVE ME NOW!

All in all, this makes me think that Reggie created such a charisma void at E3 they needed Keanu to fill it.

Holy fuck Kaenu Reeves is in this game.
Didn't realize CD project had "hire Keanu Reeves" kind of money. I guess they're trying to cross from "make niche RPG game with 1-2 millions sales" to "make big release game with 5-10 millions sales", which kinda makes sense since there's also the witcher TV series which should help put there name on the map for more soft core gamer. But it could backfire spectacularly if the game doesn't move that many unit, they might have borrowed quite a bit and are betting the company future on it.
Theres more than one way to pay a celeb, maybe he's getting a cut of sales. Or maybe they managed to get him interested enough that he went cheap on them.

Kinda bummed arcane studio are doing something other than Prey sequel, but as I understand it, it sold like complete crap so can't blame them.

Probably the latter. Keanu is famously humble, often doing projects for the hell of it at the bare minimum pay. He famously gave most of his Matrix salary to the SFX team.

But for myself, don't care much for that, famous people in video game don't really do anything for me, even when I like the actor. An NPC is more define by it's writing and role in the plot than by whether or not they're model after someone famous. I also doubt they paid him to do the mo cap, so it's just voice and look.
CDPR is also GOG, ya know that thing thats the main competitor (? similar thing) to Steam.
