Just a reminder to everyone Keanu is a terrible actor. Great guy from his reputation, but he's one of the worst actors out there. Much Ado about nothing, Bill and Ted, the Matrix, hell even John Wick...just terrible. If he's in this, this ain't no masterpiece, its a 50s B-SciFi movie like Planet of the Vampires, Santa vs the Martians, or hopefully Plan 9 from Outer Space
Shit

I thought cyberpunk 20777, from the makers of fantasy mercenary with a garbage disposal full of rocks voice, was going to be the next citizen kane

Fuck
No my point being everyone saying "AAHHH INSTANT BUY!" and preordering 'cause of Jack Traven? People are assuming because of Keanu this is a game worth playing, when him being in a movie has never made it worth seeing. Its the equivalent of not wanting to buy the new Halo game until OH shit, Rob Schneider is in it? INSTANT BUY!
Maybe people just lkke Keanu Reeves because he's a cool swell guy

Why do you hate Keanu Reeves so much
I don't hate him. From what I've seen he's a really nice guy. I'm just fully aware of his place as a Z-movie slop actor. Him being in Cyberpunk is surprising because the devs seem to want us to take the game seriously, with a serious grrr grim story and character and settings. But Keanu is like a Borderlands character. Just completely off message if the message is 'take this seriously'
Like I said earlier its like having Rob Schnieder as a new Spartan in a Halo game.
Keanu was in Johnny Mnemonic, which was a cyberpunk film that came out just as the original version genre stopped being relevant, so it's fitting that he's also in CDProjekt's juvenile looking attempt to pretend two decades of postcyberpunk didn't happen.
It's almost as if the game is based on a cyber-punk table-top game that came out before those 2 decades...

Hmmmmmmmm.

On Microsofts side: The new console sounded like it was designed with the right focus but obviously we haven't seen enough. The game pass sounded like a good deal if you play a lot of games. The games looked alright, but Microsoft could use a new big franchise. Halo is stale and Gears of War was just pathetic this year. Poorly presented without confidence or anything interesting to show. Microsoft is good on the quantity front, but a few more star games that are really theirs would be better. As for cyberpunk, I'm not feeling it. I was already not the biggest fan of the Witcher, which felt clunky, and this reminds me of a cross between that and GTA5 which really rubbed me the wrong way with its shallow cynicism. That's fine though, I'm sure a lot of people that aren't me will enjoy it, like they did GTA and the Witcher.

Bethesda needs to cut their losses on Fallout 76 and ESO and either focus their show more on Doom and Wolfenstein or make better RPG's. If I were Bethesda I would mostly ignore fallout 76, and improve it more quietly, and just focus on the shooters until I had a convincing trailer of the next Elder Scrolls to show (mobile games don't count).

This years E3 has been worst in general. they didnot show us any gameplay. all cinematic trailers show nothing happened.

ubisoft didnot bother to announced splinter cell. so series is dead at this point.

Be honest though: of the voice acting you?ve witnessed from Cyberpunk 2077 so far, was any of it really that much better?

I mean yeah okay that's a very fair point. But I do think the other actors were at least trying to be serious. Keanu is just...Keanu

Microsoft: What do you guys and gals want? We sure as hell don't. Our new system can run at 120fps even though this generation struggles hard to maintain 60fps.

Bethesda: The conference of woooo! Woooo! Woooo!

Sounds like a preconceived notion issue, which I get because I?m kinda the same way about Adam Sandler, Ashton Kutcher and Liam Neeson but for different reasons. When I watch John Wick though, I haven?t had the problem of Bill and Ted popping in my head every time KR opens his mouth. The Wick movies are legit in their tone, and he plays the part of a cold killer at least as well as any of his contemporaries IMO.
