Heh, I must admit I like the idea of a "Ban everybody again" button. I imagine it would be big and red. It would require people turning keys at the same time, eye-scans etc. to activate of course!
I think the opposite is more likely:TornadoFive said:Heh, I must admit I like the idea of a "Ban everybody again" button. I imagine it would be big and red. It would require people turning keys at the same time, eye-scans etc. to activate of course!

"You're not banned anymore"
"Really?"
"Of course you are fool... gotcha"
Stop right there. This is not speculation. There's absolutely no evidence of that aside from some people somehow being allowed to log in after being banned, that is all. I am getting annoyed with these leaps in conclusions recently from these articles, it's got nothing to do with Sony, hackers breaking into a system, or even credit cards, yet there's already a few posts about that. Far as we know, it's a blip in a system, but that doesn't warrant a huge speculation of hackers coming into more services. No need to make any more panic than there already is.John Funk said:With Microsoft's rival PSN having more than its fair share of difficulties right now [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/109568-Sony-Admits-Private-PSN-Info-Has-Been-Stolen-All-Of-It], it's not out of the question to wonder if this blip in the system is the result of someone trying to work their way into Xbox Live and screwing up along the line.
Of course, it's also possible that this was Microsoft messing around with its hardware to ensure that a disaster like the PSN debacle doesn't happen to Xbox Live, and forgetting to push the "ban everybody again" button when all was said and done.
Actually? When something of the magnitude of the PSN outage happens, and then Xbox Live happens to have something wonky (no matter how small) occur to, I think random speculation is hardly out of line.Jumplion said:Stop right there. Just.....calm down, okay? Can everybody do that? Unless LIVE is completely shut down akin to PSN, and Microsoft takes a week to find out what happened and takes another day to tell us what happened, then you can start making connections.
I'm not attacking anyone here personally, but I am really getting sick of this speculation and blowing things to where they are not true. This [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/7.280129-Latest-XBL-Exploit-Takes-Aim-at-Users-Credit-Cards] didn't really help. While a slight connection could be made, there's not enough evidence to even suggest that hackers have gotten in. It's a different issue altogether, all these people have been allowed to do is log in after being banned, that isn't even remotely related to what is going on with PSN.John Funk said:Actually?
