My last name throws dashing right out the window, regardless of what comes before it.

Mine are Laugharne (pronounced larn) and Hyde. Both are family names that get passed down the line to the next poor baby.

To be honest, I really don't mind them, they're both uncommon (like my first and last names for that matter) which is never a bad thing. And I wouldn't change them because really, how often do you use them?
