Mine craft... what should i build

basically iv recently gotten mine craft and iv gotten a good feel for the game and built a good house and can move around the world with ease. but now that my house is built I want something to work on. Im not really into the whole sculpture or statue building thing. I would like to build things im actually going to use

I'd suggest a good mine. Personally, I prefer the 'walled off sections of cave' method, wherein you slowly 'colonise*' segments of a preexisting cave bit by bit.

A tower of doom, I can't not make a tower of doom whenever I start a new world.

Also, a house made entirely out of sand and torches, remove one block and half the ceiling collapses, it gives you a new found hate of creepers.

Block out the sun. Get tons of stone, and at the highest possible point on the map start a ceiling/floor whatever large enough to block your normal stomping grounds

Because it, as a letter, is unappealing and seems rather phoned in. Z, honestly? Three haphazard lines? Give me a fucking break.

I vote for underwater city. Its fucking hard, with finding or biulding a body of water large enough to fit all that infastructure in.
