I typed "Afro-American" into the seed box (long story), and got what is quite frankly the best world ever. Even better than "Gargamel".

Behind my spawn point was a series of mushroom mountains. I finally made that hanging garden I always wanted, and am considering an upside-down castle.

I tried this. There aren't any mushroom mountains BUT there are several mountains linked by giant overhangs which look EPIC!

That's what I meant. Anyways, yeah. City hanging from the underside of impossible overhangs.

Where can I find the seed generator?

Update to the latest version and start a new world.

It looks like this (minus the stuff already typed in, it was the only screen I could find on Google).

Oh yeah, I remembered what happened in the beginning of my current world. I guess it was a glitch.

I decided to burn down this big forest that was in the way. It was burning quite nicely but during lag, a Creeper sneaked on me and I died. The explosion had a strange time-warping effect on the world though, because all the trees I had just seen burn into ash had respawned! Wondering what the hell was going on, I walked to where my items were supposed to be, but suddenly there was lag again. Before I knew it, I was staring a forest fire moving TOWARDS me and I got burned to death.

Since there was no other source of fire, like a lava lake or something, it had to be the fire I started, but it had come back like a boomerang.

There was this guy who was griefing in a SMP server and PVP was on so I punched him of a cliff and I picked up his diamond equipment. I knew that his friends with Diamond equipment was coming after me so I made a chest and put it into a secret area of my house and put all the Diamond stuff in. His friend killed me but got nothing out of it. It was like I was was the hero of the server.

There was this one time, when I was mining, and not long after that, I was crafting.

edit: Sigh. I always confuse myself with Gerard Depardieu, and minecrafting with tasting soup...

My bad. But I think it's close enough. And more than adequately reflects on my experiences.

Well, I once found this cave... it stretched through about half the map and was full of shiny stuff.
I went in with a bunch of iron pickaxes and a huge load of torches and came out a rich man. Gold, diamonds, iron and over six stacks of coal. 'Twas epic.

On escapecraft.com 2.0 I found 16 diamonds in one shot. Two deposits managed to form next to one another.

Well,I had started a new game and I found stuff such as lava,water,coal,diamonds,etc.all next to my spawn.It was perfect.But,I went to the bathroom and let my friend play.When I came back,my friend was lost and we couldn't find where I spawned.

Alright, got another one that just happened and made me pretty happy.

Found a seed on a different site that's pretty nice: Large mountains, valleys (screenshots of the original had a huge valley filled with a forest, which got me interested) etc. Fired it up, walked around for a bit, went to check out a cavern on a hill and found - lava. At sea level. Right below the entrance of the cave. Checked it out on Minutor and the lavaflow starts at 64 height and ends in a pool on 61. Since I have nothing right now it'll be a while before I can make use of it but it's still pretty nice

Edit: Found a second one, even higher up. This is a weird map.

Small question, Seeing how i'ved only played 2 days of minecraft.....why wont my bucket pick up lava......im under the impression it would....if it was an original source, Also!
OT: Just as i was playing i stumbled upon a monster spawner.....i have no weapons as i wasn't expecting much of a fight....only my steel weapons and my gold and iron ore from which ive found, As i approached not knowing what would appear.....2 Spiders appeared!!!! In an action of fear i built a wall around the evil eight legged bastards! but alas.......a creeper got the jump on me....and i went boom....

Alright, so I was playing Minecraft and decided to wander of onto the mountain in which my house was built, hoping to find some creepers and make TNT. In the end I made my TNT, but I had gottan lost. So, deciding that all hope was lost, I walked to a good place to make a house to start over.

I had been in this house for about two weeks and I had dug right down into the earth, finding more than 10 diamonds in total, before falling into lava.

I even lost my TNT. :'(

I was caught out of my house at night, lost in a very, very distant forest. No health items in my inventory, a quiver with a faltering supply of arrows, and shattered rusty armor. I ran headlong into darkness, deeper and deeper into the woods. Zombies, spiders, skeletons; they came from everywhere. Every arrow found it's mark, homing in with adrenaline-boosted precision. They fell, one by one, but more found their way to me - their prey. I fired and ran, fired and ran, running through the odd zombie attempting to cut off my charge. In the distance, respite; I could barely make out the ground giving way into what I could only hope was a cliff. There, I could dive into the water, find a shore, build a raft, and sail to sanctuary. My square feet carry me ever faster towards that oasis of hope, only to find it is a sheer drop onto evil-infested forest.

SO I SET THAT ***** ON FIRE. The end.

My friend and I have this server set up. The spawn point is next to this nice little bay area that we split up (i got one side, he got the other). I built a pretty cool boardwalk area with docks, a fishing pier, and a couple seaside shops. It took quite a bit of wood. I was trying to figure out how to decorate the front of the second shop when my friend suggested I stick a couple netherrack on either side of the door and light it.

It was about this time that my brain quit working and thought this was a good idea.

Needless to say, the fire spread quickly across the boardwalk. I lit myself on fire multiple times trying to beat it out. I remembered I had a bucket and managed to put out the fire and save half the dock (or so I thought).

"Whew...at least that's over"

i didnt know you could put letters into the seed generator so upon reading this i instantly put "you mad bro" into it and my world is amazing!!!

I have no amazing minecraft stories to tell, just my disapointment with only getting 12 peices of iron EVER and my friend getting over 60 in a day =_=

Adding insult to injury......I've gathered a 100+ today...almost died....alot, lol....i only found 5 diamonds tho.....and like 5 gold....sad day

Allow me to tell you the story of NinjaCoon's great sheep massacre.

After hours of making a fence around my farm, I spent a few days colonizing islands and making light houses in my MineCraft WaterWorld, as I've come to call it. I come back today to find dozens of sheep have trampled my crops (I left the gate open aaaarghhhhh).

Needless to say, in my passion, I collected 5 black wool, 3 grey wool, and LOTS of white wool.

Just the other day i was playing my friend found some diamond he was digging it out it fell in water with a 1 block wall to lava. for some reason he removed the wall instead of walking around then i jumped in to the lava grabbed it before it melted and ran in to the water. then over vent i sang the final fantasy victory song.

Meh, the old, pushed by a pig into lava. Many of his friends died that day.

No sad stories, because I, being a cheater, use invedit to keep my stuff safe, just open it there, and save it if I die.
