We know Luna gonna to be in season 2, but I have really no idea how she will be handled.
I think they should be very very careful with Luna in Season 2. She got so much fan love from having all of a 30 second scene and if she is made an established character then it could ruin her.

You know what? Fuck it, if you really want your daily dose of pony threads this bad, then have it your way. Just don't be surprised when it's the fanbase that ends up killing off the show, I can guarantee it.
Ok

Anyway lets get going again!

Who wants more cmc in season 2!
I want more Scootaloo!!!

I'm going to have to say no, on the grounds that she's a total *****.
Agreed! Trixie was a fun one off. But I don't want to see her again.

Less MLP threads would be an amazing start. Or maybe one big forum dedicated just to Poni so that the people who watch the show but don't talk about it 24/7 and the people who don't like the show don't have to put up with pony threads 24/7 on every single damn forum of the intrawebs.

Even in Extra Credits threads after 1 picture of a pony was shown for 2 seconds in the show it's like "HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT PONIEEEEES! PONY THREAD? PONY THREAD! OLOLOL".
There are 25 threads on the first page of this forum, there are 5 sticky threads, I rarely see more then 1 pony thread at a time, tonights a rare occasion where there are two. so lets just say 1.5/20. We We take up 7.5 percent of thread space. I have yet to see ponies talked about on other threads that don't call for it, and you can't complain if we talk about MLP in Favorite TV shows, Meme based threads, and of course pony threads. So that just leaves the Avatars.

Right now you are actively raging at something that takes up 7.5 percent of the threads on the off topic escapist forum, and a 1x1 square inch that are used as avatars on occasion.
When there is at least one per day, usually along the lines "Who is your favorite pony" or "Why is it popular", then ya, they're a problem.

That said, this is something much better suited for the MLP group for 2 reasons.

1) You have just about every MLP fan in that group. Your target audience is right there, no need to bring it here.

2) You'll save a lot of time and frustration by not having to deal with the people who don't like the show.

It would be great if groups could have there own forums inside of them, a smaller forum but still.

Sadly though, if you tried to get a topic like this in the current format groups are in, no one or barely anyone would contribute.

And in all fairness, "Why is MLP so popular threads" aren't even started by bronies, you can't pin those on us.

Then again, they could save everyone a lot of time and frustration by not coming into these threads in the first place. After all, you don't see me busting into, say, a Mass Effect thread and ruining everyone's fun just because I don't like it.

Bronies post in them don't they? They therefore bump it. You can still feed trolls without starting the troll thread. And from the looks of it, the MLP group is one of the most active on the site. And from the number of members, every single person who wants to take part of it will.

Yes, but a lot of people are tired of it and it would be beneficial to both parties if these topics were placed in the group chat. Like I said, everyone who wants to know or cares about MLP is probably already in that group, wouldn't it be better to share your info with your target audience rather then sticking it in a bottle and casting it out into the sea of threads that is the Off-Topic Forum?
