In terms of what I would prefer, it would be for Twi to become an alicorn for the end season and the next one starting with her becoming a unicorn again. However, I don't actually care. I don't watch MLP for the remarkable plot, but rather for the comedic value of the scripts. They could make the ponies just sit around and argue (Look Before You Sleep) or just run for a while (Fall Weather Friends) and it would still be entertaining.
