You know, I think you're right. I haven't played COD 4 in a while, so I can't say anything about the state of affairs there, but playing COD W@W not too long ago, there seemed to be less griefers and mic spammers.

Maybe if I stay one game behind in the Call of Dut franchise, I'll get an online experience without a bunch of immature douchebags shouting abuse at everyone...

FUN IS FUN, i know it's "cool to hate on mw2" but the game is mad fun. End.

Fun is not fun. Fun is subjective and what one person finds fun another person might not find fun. MW2 is a broken game due to lack of testing and being sold overpriced. It also was a stripped down PC version with more than half of PC exclusive features left out like mods to make more money. So there are legit reasons to hate MW2 don't be so quick to jump on it is cool to hate MW2 or popular thing bandwagon.

OT: I do not live in the UK or Britain but I am happy that I have contributed in no way to its success. Although just because something sells well does not mean it is good or even of a high quality.

I quite like MW2. The only thing that is wrong with this is that about 70% of people who own the game are not 18. This is usually not a problem but then they then clearly show this on xbox live by singing/screaming/thinking they are tough by swearing. This is why I stopped playing, kids thinking that they are better gamers than people who has been doing it for about 15 years.

Completely agree. MW2 had alot of flaws but hell it was still fun and kept me entertained for the first three months of this year, which is more than I can say for other games. Also I quite enjoyed the storyline and the Co-Op missions were great.

Heck, I still play it LAN with a couple of College class mates every week or two.

Well i did contribute to it's success, i was a first hour of release buyer, and i logged 28 days playtime so far. When me and my friends all get online we play MW2, it's fun FOR US. And obviously it's fun for millions of other people aswell. Note that PC MW2 players are infact the minority, so btthurt remarks aside, being someone that plays this particular game on PS3, im yet to come across one of these "broken" features this minority of players keep banging on about.

It was the most anticipated game ever, it's a very high quality product - ON THE CONSOLES - *rollseyes* and the majority of console games in Britain play and love the hell out of it, what the hell is wrong with that?

there was the infinite care package glitch and the javelin glitch they had to nerf the models too. this game had a number of glitches before people got around to patching it. and i hope that when they thought of one man army the didn't know how hard n00b tubes would be spammed. most peoples first impressions of this game was that it was glitchy and unbalanced and a lot of them didn't stay to find out

Ok, fair point, that's two glitches, I should've remembered them. Granted, it had and still has a lot of exploits, and I said that, but that's only two glitches, which to be honest aren't exactly game breaking.

OMG WORST GAME EVAR.
Of course it isn't. It's a decent game with a fun (albeit short and silly) single player, a throughly entertaining co-op and a pretty broken multiplayer. Does it deserve to be number one? No, of course not, but the hate it gets here is pretty ridiculous.

Ok listen, everyone thats bad-Mouthing MW2, YOU may think its a bad game, but the critics cant be wrong when they award MW2 Game of the Year, on NUMEROUS sites and in many gaming magazines. Best Shooter, Best Graphics, Best Mulitplayer.

I know the game has its flaws, but people buy the game because they genuinely enjoy it.

Just because YOU think its a bad game doesnt make it fact.

Before you even ask, I'm a 25 year old black american.

So Kudos to Infinity Ward, (or whats left of them). You truly made a great product.
