im sure you all know the usual grief worthy tactics; camping, knife running, propipe with one many army

My tactic involves a silenced M21 (which i use solely for the ghillie suit and a few mid-long shots), a silenced raffica. tactical insertion (purely because i hate the default spawns, they always leave you vulernable or put you right next to the enemy), scavanger pro, coldblooded pro and ninja pro.

i like to hunt on wastleland and overgrown by crawling through tall grass and getting into a bush for a few kills then crawling along. i can get behind the enemy unseen and rack up the kills with my raffica once they are flanked, it also works fairly well on derail, salvage and surprisingly storm

what is you opinion do you think this is an unfair tactic, ive been greifed a few times but i think its a fair tactic because if im spotted then im dead
this is basically the same tactic as I use, but with the m9 so I don't think it's "NOOB", it's just a clever way of playing
Do you get better results with M9, i might give it a try. i used to use it but i feel the raffica has a bit more power to it. obviosly without scavanger the singleshot fire may be better on your ammo consumption but i feel the power of the raffica is so much better.

i might try using it with M9 or possibly the USP
I only play hardcore so I don't use scavenger, I use bling pro so I can take a silencer and an acog on my m21 (works GREAT) and a silencer and tacty knife on the m9. For me it works great, I could use a machine pistol if I really wanted to, but I find if I need full auto fire, I am already doing my job wrong :p

and I use this tactic on EVERY map, but it is much harder on some for sure!!!

The only tactic I really dislike in multiplayer games is camping: sure, it's a legitimate enough tactic because the game allows for it, but it's both annoying as hell and most likely not too much fun to do. I feel like if games didn't track stats, fewer people would be willing to sit on their asses and stare at a door--it's only because they can show off to their friends that they have a good KDR that they even bother.

OT: Your tactic sounds legitimate enough, outmaneuvering people with stealth approaches is an excellent way to fight.

There are no "noob" tactics. If you're playing random online people, you don't even have anybody to get annoyed at you for using them, so do whatever you want and mute the bitches who whine when you beat them.

EDIT: One question; why a silencer on hardcore? It's significantly more useful on normal since, on hardcore, they'd have to actually be looking at you for a silencer to matter (no muzzle flash), while on regular it also keeps you from being shown on the minimap. It's still useful, sure, but the good 'ole noobtube or a heartbeat sensor (though everybody uses Ninja nowadays, so that's less useful) work just as well. In Hardcore especially, the undermounted shotgun is vastly overrated; it has a very good range so it's a pretty decent main weapon, let alone a backup weapon, plus it'll one shot kill on HC.

If you've killed someone with it, it's automatically a noob tactic and unfair.

Serious answer: Who cares? It's in the game and as long as you're not spawning under the map or doing some random exploit-related shit it's completely fair.

Eh,a recent tatic I've used is pretty annoying to others but so fun. I play the game like a free runner, being as evasive and surprising as I can.... Its not the best but it sure is fun

I think you could use a better snipper rifle, but if anything that makes you less "nooby" to use a crappy one like the M21.

thank you, so many people on COD call themselves a sniper when they have stopping power instead of coldblood and a thermal instead of a silencer. if you look at the SAS in real-life this is what they do

also the ghillie suit is an added bonus which noone seems to use, in the right spots on every map you can go prone and be almost invisible.

i got the last laugh on one of the griefers, i sneaked up on him got prone and sent a reply on PSN saying "turn around", when he turned around i put a knife in his face. he replied saying "you cock", i replied saying "you retard, you shouldve seen me coming", and he got really defensive and eventually backed off in shear embarassment
Yeah, I use cover and concealment all the time, those are the only reasons I can be effective in the game. I'm slower than other people, so having an advantage like that helps me be able to fight the people that play constantly! (I'm rank 48, so haven't done all that much playing)

Thank you. So many people say "Well, if they didn't want players to do it, they wouldn't have put it in the game!" and that phrase is completely idiotic.

But yeah, if people call you out for something like that, they're just mad. Don't listen to them. People call people noobs for doing anything.

its a good tactic that ive used to good effect in the distant past (before i permanently RageQuitted MW2 for being a broken PoS). that aside keep going, its a realistic and fair tactic and noone has the right to call you a noob for using it.

oh and if you like sniping from bushes try BF:BC2. all the bolt action rifles are 1 headshot kills (torso with Magnum ammo) and you can select whichever scope you want to use with them (Red Dot, ACoG, normal, 12X zoom) also you can switch your loadout on the fly between spawns (and the spawn system itself is pretty great too.) allows you to switch, from picking off people from a bush on the other side of the map to running in with a Red Dot Barret .50 cal and breaking people open, very fast.

(Maybe i put to much about BF:BC2 in this post but im an unashamed Dice fanboy now)

Just play the game. If you are not team killing or griefing who cares?

If you win someone will say you used a nood tactic. I got moaned at the other day because I came top. Apparently the TAR is a noob gun because its high power.

As I play on Hardcore it only really matters for bullet penetration.

It's not horrible but it's still about as far from "skill" as you can get.

Not that there's much to be had in COD4:2 anyways. It's a K/D carry kit since there's going to be someone who invariably has the "must get revenge" syndrome.

I think its a fair tactic, I just dont think it would be very fun for my taste in a game like MW2.

Good to see you put thought into it, though. Good when people actually have a strategy

i might start taking this class into hardcore. the reason i use M21 is because the more powerful snipers take more than one shot with a silcener and cold-blooded and with the recoil it gives the enemy a chance to escape, the M21 takes a lot of shots but has less recoil so works out much easier in the longrun

if i was to go on hardcore then i would use an intervention because its a one shot kill

It is nothing more than being an effective sniper. It is a good tactic, especially if the killcam is disabled.

I prefer melee battle myself (as Alexander Suvorov said "The bullet is a fool, the bayonet is a fine chap" and considering he was one of the 2 undefeated generals in history (the other being Alexander the Great), I'd say he knows what he is talking about), so I would likely use the knife-running cheapness.
when was wellington defeated???
