Modern Warfare 2 is this a "NOOB" tactic

Dude, thats the non-noobiest class their is. You play a sniper class, LIKE A PROPER FUCKING SNIPER. Bravo sir, bravo. And whats more, you use the least effective(from a one hit kill perspective) sniper rifle to top it. I use a similar class and there is nothing noobish about it.

The best tactic is to insult them back.

Once played search and destroy against a group of foreigners and killed 4 of them.

They called me a noobtuber and I replied "Welcome to the United States of YOU JUST GOT DOMINATED!"

na that a good stratgy, I have a cheeper one. On wasteland/Terminal. I use stooping power, steady aim bling with a gripped thermal lmg. I just throw a smoke gernade into a choke point and gun them down when they rush in thinking their safe, if gotten loads of h8 for that one.
i like the strategy, i was thinking of making a similar one but i dislike LMGs and Thermal scopes (by dislike i mean dislike using them)

That seems like a fairly good tactic there, OP, if I'd been killed by a sniper as efficient as you say you are, I wouldn't complain, I'd give him a little credits for his skills.

I don't play MW2, but I do ply CoD4 all the time and have perfected some tactics for each level:

Levels: Backlot, Downpour, Countdown and Strike
Weapons: M40A3 Sniper Rifle and Desert Eagle
Perks: Frag x3, Stopping Power and Dead Silence
Tactics: Never stand in one spot for too long, change between places every three kills.

Levels: Pipeline and Bloc
Weapons: M40A3 Sniper Rifle and Desert Eagle [SUB]Sometimes a silenced USP .45[/SUB]
Perks: Bandolier or Claymore x2, Stopping Power and Iron Lungs
Tactics: Stay on the edges of the map, snipe every enemy, if seen, change places, quickly.

Levels: Vacant and Wet Work
Weapons: Silenced MP5 and Desert Eagle/M14 with ACOG Scope and Desert Eagle
Perks: Frag x3, Stopping Power and Martyrdom [SUB]People may hate me for my Martyrdom.[/SUB]
Tactics: Stay on the outskirts of the map, never go into the middle, kill everyone that goes on the outskirts (Exhausting during TDM on Wet Work)

Sounds like this tactic would take a while to rack up kills. If you're crawling around places, then it has to be a good few minutes between kills.

There is so much imbalance in MW2 that nothing can be really considered cheap anymore.

Playing properly and fairly is the equivalent of gimping yourself, so I say whip out those Rangers and forget how to aim, you'll still do great.

at the moment i normally go 5-0 (or similar) in a standard TDM but ive just started and it takes quite a while to get used to. At the moment im having much more fun with my lower scores using this than i did with my higher scores using a holographic FAL with stopping power.

I love how people now call the heartbeat sensor the "baby monitor". Apparently using it is a noob tactic, because apparently people don't like using the ninja perk to counter it like I do?

I don't use heartbeat sensors anymore, but I was in a game where the gamewinning kill was with a heartbeat sensor, and everyone started jeering in the killcam, considering the game illegitimate.

im sure you all know the usual grief worthy tactics; camping, knife running, propipe with one many army

My tactic involves a silenced M21 (which i use solely for the ghillie suit and a few mid-long shots), a silenced raffica. tactical insertion (purely because i hate the default spawns, they always leave you vulernable or put you right next to the enemy), scavanger pro, coldblooded pro and ninja pro.

i like to hunt on wastleland and overgrown by crawling through tall grass and getting into a bush for a few kills then crawling along. i can get behind the enemy unseen and rack up the kills with my raffica once they are flanked, it also works fairly well on derail, salvage and surprisingly storm

what is you opinion do you think this is an unfair tactic, ive been greifed a few times but i think its a fair tactic because if im spotted then im dead

It's not up to us to decide
I mean let those posing 10 year olds cry all they want
you're pwnin them you're in charge

I think you could use a better snipper rifle, but if anything that makes you less "nooby" to use a crappy one like the M21.
I use m14 the same way you getter results silenced with it because it doesn't jump around as much. The only thing that's silly is the extreme effectiveness of UMP.45 at long ranges when you silence that gun its probably the best gun in the game.

Nope. It's called Sniping. What you do is what a real-life sniper would.
Agree, even though it is very frustrating getting killed by sniper all the time, there are always tactics that can counter snipers..

In FPS's where vehicles are an option, it is always extremely rewarding to run them over..
Road kill FTW..

Not really, but the M21 is an irritating weapon because it's a two shot kill and has virtually no recoil. Spam ahoy.

i dont know if that was intentional but using "baby monitor" and "illegitimate" in the same post really made me giggle

once i get on hardcore in gonna us intervention (silenced/heartbeat), m9 (sileced/tac knife)
CB pro, ninja pro and Tac insert

Meh the FPS community loves to ***** and whine. Back in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault you were a n00b if you used the damn Bazooka or Panzerschrek and that was hard to get kills with but people constantly complained about it same with shottie whores in CQB maps. Then the realism mod came out and you were a n00b if you used a bloody bolt action rifle.

Hell even more hardcore FPS games that are in very niche markets like Red Orchestra have people ***** about things. The CoD community tends to be much worse because they are usually younger then some communities and thus feel the need to justify their suckage.

Compared to akimbo, noobtube, pred missles, and boosting, your tactic is both smart and deserving of every kill you get.

As long as you don't spawn kill in any game that tactic seems alright. Although it looks like that this tactic could end up with you spawn killing intentionally or not.
