Yes it is great that you enjoyed the game but some people those said favourite elements that were taken ruin the game for them me inparticular is one of those people as it kills clan play play if you have a large clan and I don't like the idea of such small player cap.

Just played about 40mins on PC. NO LAG AT ALL.
Uh huh, post a speed test result for some one who'm is 250 miles away, I need to see this before I can believe what you say.
250 miles is really nothing. I play with people 3,000 miles away and have zero noticeable lag 99% of the time on the 360 version. Now, if you're playing someone from Japan in the US, yea you'll notice lag, but that situation rarely arises. P2P lag is greatly exaggerated.
Japan is just as close to US as Europe is maybe a bit more or les not 100% sure.

I'm asking for 250 miles though. AS that'd be an accurate representation of a server other players game.

He hasn't bothered posting it up, so I'm assuming he has beast internet and thus his opinion is invalid for me. :)

Also, p2p is not over exagerated, as not everyone has awsome internet, they have internet that used to be alright/good on servers, and now will be suffering bad lag.

Not to argue or anything, but I have a question. If you had MW1 on xbox, and now you bought MW2 on xbox, what changed from the first game to the second? On PC the change was from night to day, so yea im sure the single player was awesome, all 5 hours of it, but that was never the issue at hand with the PC version.
Fair enough point, the only real changes are more depth and customisation as far as the weapons go (although that only really comes into the online segment of the game) along with a slightly more refined feel to it (it easily could be considered an upgrade of CoD4) but then one could ask what was changed between HL2 and the episodes? (what made them worthwhile sequels?)

I'm aware that the large issue in the PC was the 'consolifacation' of the online multiplayer but then again, that shouldn't detract from the rest of the game (not everyone cares about multiplayer after all).

Also, I'm pretty certain that the single player campaign was longer than five hours (slight hyperbole on your part there).

Took me four and a half hours. Depends what difficulty you play it on I guess.

Single-player is fucking epic. When that nuke was flying over D.C. I thought it'd just be another Jackson from MW1 but it detonates in the atmosphere and it's an EMP! Didn't see that coming. I was certain Ramirez and his squad were fucked when that chopper crashed.

The ending is great too. Leaves it wiiiiiiiiide open for a third :D

So, is the campaign even shorter than MW1? I'm not interested in the multiplayer.

Yes it's really shorter than MW1, but it's all over the place, the story barely makes sense. You'll easily get thru it in a single-sitting

I do love the game. I've spent most of today playing offline multiplayer at a friend's, and it's truly wonderful. Offline custom classes are a godsend.

I guess I won't be buying it. Rental maybe. I don't care about the multiplayer at all. Why would I? I have Team Fortress 2.

But I DO really wanna play the single player.
Isn't that like saying "I have lobster dinner every night, so I never want to have anything else." Yea, it may be tasty, and the best, but don't you ever feel like some variety? They're very different experiences.

Interesting side note, I've never actually had lobster.

Rank 27 and still loving the online play. And I have just two levels to go on story mode but this game so far is a solid experience. Very fun indeed.
