Agreed, mw2's campaign, a bit short, was a complete blast! i hear 3 devs are working on this one, but at least Infinity Ward are soley working on the campaign, so without focusing on multiplayer, it should be a blast as well.
Technically it's not the same Infinity Ward, but yes I loved MW2's campaign and I am very excited for MW3

I will give it that... my love/hate relationship with COD is infamous amongst my buddies, Lol.
Or perhaps "infamous" is the wrong word here.

OT: I am as excited for it as I was for any other CoD game - really, REALLY excited.

No. Modern Warfare 2 and CoD: Black Ops were enough to satiate my non-Chernobyl modern themed shooters. I doubt I'll bother with Call of Duty or it's spinoff franchises anymore.

I'll ***** and moan, and say I won't buy it.

Then I will buy it on an Amazon sale around Christmas.

I did that the past 2 years, after all.

If Modern Warfare 2 didn't shoot CoD4's surprisingly good story in the foot with a shotgun, and consequently falcon punch it to within an inch of it's life, for no goddamned reason....then I would've been a LOT more interested.

As it as, Nope not interested cause I'm not getting it. WAY better games coming out in the last quarter (and next Q1) anyway.
Good story, i don't think it had one to begin with

Get into SAS, play with marines, marines blow up, SAS kill who did it, SAS kill whoever did it's son, que ending fight scene that still kicks ass.......

The invasion of America wouldn't be justified by a terrorist attack in Russia just because one of those guys were American.

Ah yes, im so excited for another fucking MW game to come out and sweep the game market off its feet by the moronic masses who can't do anything but twitch gaming thus hurting other more original games.

Yep, so excited -.-

As much as I want to see the conclusion to the Modern Warfare story. I am on a budget. So no. Other games have priority right now.

Not Really... I found Black Ops to be massively boring, MW2 was a lot better imo. If they do something interesting (bring back co-op, put an interesting singleplayer that takes more than 6 hours etc.), I might be.

As for multiplayer though, no. CoD just ain't my thing, Battlefield all the way.

BRING BACK SPEC OPS!!!! AND MAKE DLC FOR IT!!!

That is all. Make a good campaign and good Spec Ops, and it'll be the first DLC I'll buy. Happily so.

Yeah, I can't wait. I was one of the rare few who loved the shit out of the MW2 campaign and I can't wait to see how it all works out!

The multiplayer... well, I'm not expecting it to be any less broken and rage inducing as any other COD game to be honest.
This seems relevant...

Modern Warfare 2's story was unintelligible garbage, so I really don't care about finishing it. Also, don't trust the new studio to know anything about mutliplayer balance (not that any other call of duty developer knows anything about it either), so I won't be buying this game.
It's interesting how you say you don't like the previous developers but still treat it having new ones as a negative point.

I might pick it up if I'm looking for a shooter when it's out.

I don't understand why people hated modern warfare 2. At my school, people complained how it's offensive, in bad taste, but when I played it for the first time, I rather liked it. The next day, someone was complaining about No Russian, and how he hates you have to kill civilians, so I decided to play a bit more. Next day, I when he started up again, I called him a dirty liar and pointed out the options for the mission. Soon, 3 weeks had passed, and I had finished the game (This was my first proper FPS). When black ops was announced, I was kinda Caucasus because of the whole business in Vietnam, but I was a bit turned off by the constant gunfight, broken up by the bigger gunfights in helicopters, motorbikes and boats that personally I found to be interesting, and with all the innovation Tryach had provided, I am actually looking for would to the game. Also, I cant understand how most people hated MW2, especially with all that money it got. I can understand a small fraction of consumers hated MW2, cause of the innocent shootings, but black ops? Someone need to fill me in on that.

I'll probably rent it or borrow it from a friend but I doubt I will buy it especially if it is as short as MW2 was

Oh goody! Another 2 hour long campaign that makes my home country to be the bad guy while heroic Americans save the day! Oh wait I forgot about Soap. Still, there better be some kind of treaty between US and Russia, because I am tired of playing the fantasies of someone who is still upset that the cold war did not escalate.

Thankfully, I have more important titles to play this year. Unfortunately one of them was pushed back to 2012 because of "Reapers".

No one cared about te shootings, it was the fact that it is completely generic and hasn't done anything to inovate since cod 4
