Mom broke my copy of MW2...

So,so about 10 minutes ago i was playing team deathmatch in Invasion.Nothing exciting.They my mom came in,went on about something,and when she was leaving,got her foot caught in my recargable wire that charges the controller.This tiled the xbox over so it leaned against the TV.When i open it,it had two grooves,not cracks,grooves,in a perfect cirlce aroudn the rim of the disc.They do not wash off,and i know they came from the tilted disc drive.Any tips?

Note:The disc still work,it goes to the MW2 menu,but when i try anything,it comes up with the 'This disc is unreadable' message.

Yes, that was caused by the reader gouging a circle in your disc. And yes, it is broken, perminantly. It states clearly in the manual this can happen and that you should not move the XBOX when it's running, or run it standing on it's side.

EDIT: Disc repair may be possible if the dmg isn't too great, some gamestops or smaller shops offer this service. Otherwise, you gotta buy a new one.

Last year I bought a used copy of GTA 4 in Game and it had 2 circular grooves on the disc and wouldn't work(obviously something similar happened to the person that owned it and being a dickhead they traded it in).Took it back to Game,they popped it in a machine for 10 mins and it came out good as new and worked perfectly afterwards

That's happened to at least 3 of my xbox games.. Oblivion, Halo 3, and Tenchu Z.. Word of advice, always keep your xbox on its side, never standing up.

I wish had to balls to break it, but the bad far outweight the good. IE. Two older brothers (both play it) and a number of their stoner mixed martial arts wannabe friends would all probably want to kick the shit out of me. Hence why I wish my mother would break it.

It figures that those types would be really into MW2. I guess Texas Hold 'Em has finally gone out of style. I'm waiting for the day that UFC does.
