A friend and I were playing L4D one day, and after finishing No Mercy, we decided to do it again. So we started another No Mercy up, but instead of getting the helicopter intro, it went to a black screen and then dropped us into an unknown area. After a few minutes of running around we realized that we were in the main menu screen... My reaction was nothing short of WTF.

It was actually really fun. The only infected that spawned were special infected, and your flash light beam was a missing texture (black and purple checkerboard).

When my frost mage ran into duriel.

No, wait, that was more of an "OH SH-" moment.

I was playing 4 player Halo 3 with friends and we were just messing around with a lot of different kits and weapon combinations. Anyway we were on swords on Gaurdian (is that the jungle like level with the circular platform in the middle?) and I saw one of my friends across the way from me so I throw a very ambitious frag nade. I somehow manage to screw it up and throw it into this bit of wall so it bounced back at me. I'm thinking "oh crap" so I jump away. I then get 3 kills, one slightly after another. My frag nade bounced off into a pile of several others and the guy sneaking up on me with cloaking got caught by it. Somehow one of the plasmas didn't explode straight off and instead went flying into some exploding thing, which blew up, killing another of my friends who'd been about to throw a nade at me. My final opponent was jumping over on a grav lift and in mid air gets hit by a piece of the object that exploded killing him. Was the single most incredible thing that's ever happened in multiplayer to me.

Playing Crackdown I was on one of the large bridges that crosses islands. I hit nothing and suddenly went flying, sideways, through the air across the entire world... and landed perfectly on the other bridge.

It was awesome, and I had witnesses.

In Arkham Asylum, after taking out the other 7 guys in a invisible predator challenge room, I popped out of a vent right infront of a guy and he just screamed and fell down. I didn't touch him at all.

Also, GTA IV. Shot a car moving directly at me with a rocket launcher. Car vaulted over me and exploded the car coming at me from behind. Got 6 kills with one rocket. Awsome.

Mine has to be playing Empire: Total War - I was invading a province (Courland, if you're interested) and they were marauding around the map with an absolute ton of infantry. Being caught by surprise, I didn't have my artillery set up, but with a few seconds warning I stopped my forces, deployed the 5 12lb cannons in my possession and proceeded to fire grape shot at point blank range - from all angles in a 180 degree arc around three enemy squads of armed citizens.

Needless to say, not a single thing survived.

S'funny how panic can manifest itself as utter annihilation.

on my first time playing CoD4, a guy set off a smoke grenade right in front of me. i freaked out and fired one shot into the smoke, which happened to be a headshot. that was like my third kill in that game. i felt like such a stud.

also, two more AC things:
1. something weird happened for about 2 minutes, where every time id bump into a jar carrier, instead of having the jar just fall, it would fly about 50-70 ft away.

2. i went to jump off a ledge that had a hay cart about 20 ft from it, but on the same level as the ledge. i assumed i would land on the ground like normal, but i ended up rockeding forward halfway through the jump to land in the hay cart as if i had just done a leap of faith. i was able to make it happen consistently after that. its in masayaf if anyone wants to try

Several times in Assassin's Creed, I would be walking through a crowd and suddenly the screen froze but the sound was still going fine. This happened on more than one occasion.
Also, while playing Spider-Man WOS (a reputable glitchy game, I know), I was supposed to follow Wolverine to fight off some symbiotic citizens at a hospital down the street. Twice in a row after I got there: nothing. Had to restart the game like 4 times before they actually showed up. >_<

When I heard Vampires sparkle in Twilight, and found out it was annoyingly popular.
Also, when I realized wearing very little clothing was "In" during winter.
And many Malkavian encounters in Vampire-The Masquerade Bloodlines. Fun tiems.

There's one instance in the movie Max Payne when an enemy has a perfect shot of Max from the back. He fires his machine gun. In response Max bends back in slow motion and retaliates. Surprisingly the bullets fired by the bad guy (which is fired directly at Max) magically CURVE right and hit bottles 7 feet away from Max, while Max's bullet killed the bad guy.

i was playing Left 4 Dead and i couldn't see a thing that the flashlight wasn't pointed at(it was that dark). The tank was triggered and came running after me. i unloaded on it with my pistol (on account of me looking for a challenge and not getting a shotgun). Facing the tank, i started reloading and backpedaling as fast as i can, thinking i had enough distance to finish reloading and continue shooting.
When you reload, the gun is pointed to the side as the character reloads, taking light off of the area in front of you, so i just saw the beam of light in the corner of the screen. As my pistol moved in front of me, i was surprised by the tank's big ugly mug right in front of me as he punched me 50 feet in the other direction.
Not really a wtf moment, i know. More like a "holy crap, ninja tank!" moment.

The ending to Fallout. Also just after that what your character does at the end made me laugh so hard.
Take to bloody trait perk.

A few days ago I was playing Fallout 3 and I saw two death claws right ahead of me. Then all of a sudden one of the death claws shot straight into the air directly up, and then the other did as well. The best part was that for some reason I got experience points from them and I didn't even fire one shot at them.

Occasionally, I put Beyond Good and Evil in to give some of my friends that haven't played it a glimpse at what they're missing.

Now, it's a quick play through to the hovercraft and the first mission at the little island, being that I've played it so many times I could probably do it in my sleep at this point. But here's the odd part: for some reason now, in the little bay where you dock at the island to accept the first mission, the water's geometry does really, really bizarre things. At least playing on my PS3. It literally resembles spinning pyramids. I have no idea why.

Playing GTA4 and quite tired of ye olde cousin, I loaded us both into a bus, then sent it off into the ocean. As I climbed back onto the beach, Roman followed me, and just as I was about to gun him down, a cop car comes flying out of the top of the screen skybox and lands straight down on top of him fender-first. I had picked up two stars along the bus ride, and anyone who's played GTA4 knows the propensity the police have for launching themselves off cliffs.
