When Curly died halfway through Cave Story. Several of my best kills in Nexuiz. That time I was playing Urban Terror and two players on the same team asked each other out. Playing Runescape and running into a guy trying to win his girlfriend back. Spawnkilling in Ozmodded BF2 by looping around a base in a jeep, followed by teamkilling via k-bagging (Knife T-Bagging).

The moment in Kotor2 where you beat Darth reaven, who was hype up to be the ULTIMATE jedi/sith. Even more awesome If you kill him with a Shoto lightsaber.

Dragon age:

World of Warcraft: Say what you want, but it's one of the best games I've ever played.
The Wrathgate opens - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QWR15OLcoI
Shade of Aran's Flame Wreath
Besieging Undercity as Horde while riding into battle with Thrall and Vol'Jin.
Being afraid to tell High Overlord Saurfang his son died.
That one time I killed a rogue as a shadowpriest.

Final Fantasy 4 (USA 2):
Tellah: You spoony bard!
The opening music - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ec1YYN5NWFk

Diablo 2:
Screaming like a little girl the first time I stepped into the hole in the wall to fight Duriel.
Hating Act 3.
Killing a WW Barb 15 levels higher than me by using Thorns Aura.

Final Fantasy Tactics: Probably my favorite game of all time.
The epiphany that calculators aren't only useful - they're broken.
Killing Zombie Zalbag.
The Gafgarion fight at Lionel Castle (I believe that's where it was).
Delita killing Ovelia.

Oblivion:
Final battle of the main story.

Knights of the Old Republic (1 & 2):
Discovering that you are Darth Revan.
Finally getting to use my lightsaber.
Romancing Handmaiden through Combat.
Actually spending time pondering the decisions I make with Kreia in her philosophical conversations, and realizing that the subject matter translates well to real life.
Having the vision in the cave and reliving old decisions.

The Legend of Zelda- Ocarina of Time:
12 years old and tears rolling down my face on Christmas morning because the opening is so beautiful - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3avXA-S4NrU
Learning to play the Song of Storms, and being freaked out when I go back later and the guy's goin all nuts.

Super Mario Bothers 3:
The first time I used the raccoon tail.

World of Goo:
Being 26 years old and finding myself moved by the storyline of such a simple game.

Bionic Commando:
"You damn fool."
The first level I ever played using the rocket launcher.
Finally realizing that to use my pills, I had to press start. Doh!

Metroid:
Looking around for days trying to find the ice beam so that I could get rid of the wavy beam.
That awesome feeling you get when you remember exactly where you can bomb down or over.
The also awesome feeling of anticipation you get when you're blasting through a 5-missle door to get to a power-up.
The music in Norfair - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JIXC2pV4VgU

Getting three Skullimanjaros in one day on the Halo: Reach beta. That was a very good day.

When I... wait, I forgot.

Most moments in games aren't that memorable for me. I remember the ending and main points of most good or decent games though. Also, baten kaitos' twist bends my mind.

I played through that a second time and saved her. God, that, and beating the secret level of hell felt damned awesome.

And at the end of Mass Effect 2; Shepard destroying the Human-Reaper; fleeing the seeker swarms and Collectors; and finally, leaping to board the Normandy (made all the more better by the incredibly epic music accompanying the scene).

Fallout 3: My first fight against a Deathclaw.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare: Killing Zakhaev, the son of a *****.

Choosing your first Pokemon
John Marston getting killed
Portal. All of it.

Ghillies in the Mist - Call of Duty 4

Chainsawing your first enemy in Gears of War. Always satisfying.

Would you kindly?

Getting your first star on Super Mario 64.

The climax and pay-off of Mass Effect 1. It was indeed very epic. Like "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" epic.

The final hours of Mass Effect, from the tender moment when Ashley and Shepard make love in Shepard's quarters, to Ilos to that final desperate push forward as Shepard and his team race to get to the Council's quarters in time and that final moment of victory. Man it left me with a feeling of awe that I'll never forget.

Similar case in Mass Effect 2 but more so. Once again it really 'began' for me in the (in my opinion) touching scene where Shepard gazes at Ashley's photo but every single moment of the mission itself was one massive heart stopper as we approached the Collector base and I held my breath at every single attack we sustained but then let out a sigh of relief each time I managed to push through without anyone dying. Finally I beat the game and saw I got the 'no one left behind' achievement and I came very close to jizzing in my pants.

Also the main plot twist of Bioshock was such a head slapper to me that I was once again amazed by how I hadn't noticed that before and again it put a whole new spin on the game in a way I'd never seen before.

Also the first time I started having the 'Scarecrow' sections in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Those were amazing moments of fourth wall breaking and I'll never forget how much they put me off ease and confused and disoriented. Not the battles themselves but the build ups were amazing.

Finally it must be said, all the most memorable moments in the Halo Trilogy. From the reveal of the Flood to when I first played as the Arbiter to the first battle with a Scarab to that amazingly intense final driving stage in Halo: Combat Evolved, the whole trilogy was filled with 'wow' moments for me and I get dizzy with those memories every time I play the game.

Lets see...

The first time Bowser walks onscreen for the first time in Super Mario 64. I was young at the time and I shat a brick.

Watching my starting pokemon evolve for the first time in Blue.

Seeing my main guy in Harvest Moon 64 get married.

When I beat Snowboard Kids 2 for the fist time.

Getting "Jet" rank on every story mission in Jet Grind Radio.(not an easy task)

From StarFox 64,"Don't ever give up, my son." and "You've grown so strong, Fox."

Some moments from Skies of Arcadia, my favorite game:
1. Drachma's story about "Little Jack".
2. Watching Aika throw a pillow so hard at the wall, it hurts you on the other side.
3. Aika kissing Vyse to ease the stress of the upcoming battle in the morning.
4. Seeing Galcian's special attack for the first time. "Kneel...kneel before me..."
5. Watching a previous enemy give her life and ship to destroy a major villain, and seeing their ships collide, hearing his death scream, and then the explosion.
6. The first time visiting the Silver Shrine Palace, and hearing its eerie, music box music.
7. Seeing the last living group of a race sacrifice themselves to atone for previously passing judgment on humanity by destroying the barrier to the final dungeon.

Finding out who both your revered God and your enemy are in Tales of Symphonia.

Fully restoring my first village in Okami.

The first time I heard Saria's song in Ocarina of Time.

Finally getting all the masks in Majora's Mask.

The ending of Link's Awakening, my first Zelda.

There was a basic moment in MGS3 when I was watching my friend play, he tossed an incendiary round, and got caught on fire. He then shouted "I'm on FIIIIRRRRREE!!!" in the most hilarious way possible.

S-ranking every mission on hard mode in Umbrella Chronicles, giving me unlimited ammo for every weapon. I rocket launched everything.

Going to the first galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy.

Completing the Mercenaries minigame in RE4, Wii edition.

Hearing Snake say "Falcon Punch!" in SSBB as well as calling Colonel in the same death cry he does for him.

Hearing government agents in Psychonauts' milkman stage say,"Look at that woman's breasts. They are large."

And the ending for Kingdom Hearts 2. I really liked the final boss, and although the end cutscene made not much sense, I love how they timed the Sanctuary song with Sora returning the charm to Kairi.

Wow. Long post.
