The bit in the Citadel at the end of Half Life 2. You know which bit I mean.
Oh yes, that bit.

And once in God of War when I used my red orbs ONLY on the Blades of Chaos. God they were powerful, fully upgraded before I was done with Athens.

Fallout 3 at level 30 I dont care how super awesome power armour is I should not be able to punch super mutants to death or essentialy tank half of a town.
And that.

Halo 3, on the level The Cartographer... I think. Once you've battled your way through quite a few bad guys, you arrive at a spot were you're given... a Scorpion tank. Not just one tank, but 3 tanks and 1 or 2 warthogs, being driven by AI. Seeing as how the Scorpion tank can decimate a lot of enemies in a single hit... yeah, I felt pretty overpowered. And it was awesome.

Need for Speed: Underground 2: I saved up on all the unique trim kits (or whatever they're called) and used them all on one of the late-game 'super'-cars, which made all the subsequent races cake-walks. I managed to beat the final boss with at least 6 minutes to spare.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted: [Read previous statement]

Fallout: Turbo Plasma Rifle + Hardened Power Armor = Fights that were both great fun and utter bores at the same time.

Amazed no-one's mentioned the encounter outside the lighthouse/mansion thing in The Darkness, as you're near enough invincible against what is basically an unending stream of strangely screamy and bloody free ammo. I must have killed 500+ dudes with my one hit kill '64-rounds-in-one-clip' auto shotgun and the 'kill an entire wave with a black hole' power. In the end I got plugged by 3 shotgunners in the back simultaneously as I ran out of darkness energy, losing me 19/20ths of my health by removing my near indestructible shield and breaking all my powers. It could have gone on forever had I used only the demon arm (tap a button, auto locks on and kills a dude, can repeat every 2-3 seconds.)

In Oblivion when I gain the overpowered spell Touch of Death, it was an amazing spell since I was a thief with 95% invisibility, I would go around and use the spell to instantly kill the monsters. Ha ha

Unfortunately since I was having so much fun watching the little monsters squirm I forgot to save and was killed by a boulder trap, I went back to get the spell but instead I got something different, tried to redo it several times but never got the spell back... =(

Damn you karma!

Ace Combat 0's ADFX-0 Morgan fires a missile that ignites the sky on fire and wipes out about half the map. You get 8 of them. And you can cross a line on the map to reload. :D

I like marathon/lightweight mp5k-ing on Terminal. It makes me feel like I'm a Delta Force Operator. Sprint stab! Sprint! Spray Stab Spray Stab Sprint! Load, Stab, Spray...

Well, not sure if this applies. People who stand near the Grenade Launcher in Saints Row 2 during Multiplayer, and know how to aim.Seriously, can't even get close to the buggers. Can't trick them like I can do on occasion, just...and Any of the real tricky tricks I can't do because they spot my ass from a mile away. But I do that a few times, so I can't really yell that out in frustration since that would be hypocritical :D

Hrmm...can't say I normally pump my character up that much until the end. Will always admit that I never really did well on pumping up my guys to lvl 99 in any RPG, mostly because I can't find a quick way around it, the quick ways are always a little too hard that I need to level up to a point to where it won't kill me. etc. FF12 somebody mentioned the undead bats, which yeah, worked like a charm, but damn it all, sucked at the beginning since I had to level up so that four attacks won't instantkill one of my guys, and the travel time just to get into that room is silly x.x; Unless I missed the point and there's a save spot right after, then you can all say I'm an idiot.

Oblivion. Finger of the Mountain cast by a level 32 mage. Nuff said.

Also, in Fallout 3, I had a Chinese assault rifle with over 3000 rounds. Yeah, I missed a lot, but everything, even the rocks, died.

Also, in MW2, with the UMP45 rapid fire and M21 ACOG on Sub Base.
I don't know how or why (maybe because of how cheap the UMP is, I felt horrible for using it) but I got 90 kills on a map I don't even like. Needless to say, now I like it.

Scoundrel in kotor. sneak attack + force hold = uh... what? Seriously, every fight after you figure that combination lasts about 3 seconds. Which is especially hilarious during the sequence where Jawless (malak?) attacks and runs away a bunch of times. He "dies" each time, almost instantly, doing zero damage, then runs away. After each sequence your party acts like they barely survived.

The end for dragon age: origins.. Weak mobs, weak boss.. Had to tune the difficulty level up to get any sensation of an accomplicement. Same with retardedly easy last bosses in the mass effect games.

After I unlocked the Nosferatu in Ace Combat 6. Arm that thing with the multilock special weapons and you can just breeze through every mission. Actually most of the super planes in those games are really overpowered (the fictional ones at least, some of the real planes are overpowered too).

Having chosen the Jedi Guardian (and subsequently Weapon Master), the final hours of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II showed me how pitiful Sith Lords really were.
Indeed. On the other hand, with the other combination, Jedi Councilor, the Malak fight got down to me eating those stimpacks and health kits for more than half an hour while slowly chipping away at him. More challenging, less safe and less fun. :p
But on the third hand, when you're playing as the Sith Lord you get the body crushing superpower in KOTOR II, which takes off at least a third of Darth Sion's health with each use before throwing him back so you can use it again. It's effectively impossible to save against.

Plus you can nuke each of the rooms with top level force lightning. The entire temple at the end of the game is one big celebration of how overpowered you've become.

In Oblivion, when you enchant a weapon with Drain 100 life for 1 second.
Most mobs don't have a 100 life, so 1 hit kills.

FFVIII, you can get almost every ultimate weapon straight away by exploiting the card game, and the junction system is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo exploitable that you don't even have to level up in fact the game is easier if you don't level up.

If a boss does happen to bring your guys to low health it just lets them use their strongest moves. In fact I sometimes let my guys beat themselves up just for that reason.

You pretty much become unkillable right from the get go so there isn't a moment in the entire game where I am never ridculously overpowered. It is an entirely broken game.
you don't HAVE to exploit it, you know?

OT: Morrowind. Once you get a half decent weapon and a good amount of skill in it...It's over.

Torchlight...EMBER LANCE. Pre-nerf.
