Well, if there is any good criticism of Obama, i havent heard it. So far its been for him being kind to the rest of the world (interperated as being weak) and being too calm (same thing) God forbid people start to like America and we dont have a hot head leader.

As for gay marriage and the like, Adam and Eve, and next people will wanna marry their dog and lamp is just dumb. I could argue stupid like that too against not letting gays marry. "Lets not let gays, then blacks, then next we shouldnt let anyone marry anyone who isnt themselves, cept you cant anyway since that would be...gay"
Well, about Obama, he refused help from 13 different countries in the first week of the oil spill disaster, and refused help with this oil spill until it was a complete, utter disaster, about 5 weeks in. All he did beforehand was try to figure out who to blame for it until he started taking flack from everyone for taking multiple golfing outings, except Gibbs says you can't call it "playing golf," you have to say he's "clearing his mind." He consistently says he's "not going to rest until...." but he golfs multiple times a month, takes a 4 day vacation to Las Vegas, and multiple trips each month. Now, I would normally let that pass, but Bush was raked across the coals when he went golfing once after the War in Iraq started, and after that, he never went golfing as president.

Obama's inexperience is really starting to show. He is a fantastic campaigner, but when he starts campaigning against an oil spill because that's all he knows how to do, it looks really bad.
Agreed.

I don't completely understand what you meant by your gay marriage argument, but I'll tell you mine. Mine is 2 fold. First the nit-picky one: "Marriage" is a distinct concept with a distinct definition. Language is built upon clear distinct definitions, and changing them willy-nilly because you want to leads inevitably to the destruction of language itself. When words can mean whatever you want them to mean, they mean nothing. Make up a new word, call it "civil union," whatever, but don't call it "Marriage" because it isn't.

Secondly, I point to an uncommon source: Friedrich Nietchze and his "will to power" concept. He argued that Christianity, in 19th century Germany was unhealthy for society because it depreciated the growth of society, and damaged the will to continue growing into the next generation. This ties in to homosexual relationships in the modern age.

Homosexual relationships do not produce offspring without heterosexual input. Therefore, assuming monogamous relationships, as the ratio of homosexual to heterosexual relationships within society increases, the ability of the society to grow decreases.

If a society cannot maintain a 1.2% growth rate, they decline and within a few generations suffer from complete societal collapse due to not having a large enough young, productive, youthful population to sustain the old, and continue to the next generation. It's all in the numbers. "Gay Marriage" then becomes damaging to the growth of a society, and therefore is damaging to the future of the society, and reduces the "will to power."
Well gays aren't going to produce children whether they're married or not, so I don't think gay marriage is a problem in that regard.

Anytime some one tries to compare Obama, Bush, or Beck to Hitler.

That, and once I heard some one try to compare the Tea Party to Timothy McVeigh(the guy who bombed the Murrah building in Oklahoma.
This.

Granted, any college student with more dislike for Obama than myself most likely falls into the area of "fanatacism," but comparisons with Hitler are excessive, lazy, and tremendously stupid. Unless we're talking mass murdering dictators, I think we can leave Godwin's Law out of the argument.

Wait then what genre of music does it fall into?

Speaking Spanish and therefore you are mexican.
They are Nu Metal, which is basically the boy bands of metal. If you want a definition of Nu Metal that hits the nail on the head, look it up on urban dictionary. Why does it bother me though?

Slipknot and Metal.
I remember this one dude saying he liked Metal bands, he even gave me a list of his favorites.
-Disturbed
-System of a Down
-Slipknot
-Korn
All I could think was WTF
That is why. All these people go around calling themselves metal heads and talk about how they listen to metal and all they listen to is that crap.

That is a bad thing to do. Especially when your not prepared for the emotional assault some Pixar movies give.

Some rich asshole at my former high school once compared his house to Auschwitz because he had his iPod Touch confiscated by his parents for bad grades.

Our math teacher (who was a survivor of Auschwitz himself [he even had the tattoo on his arm]) completely lost it. I don't think I've ever heard a teacher yell that loud. Especially one that was 74.
Ugh, I hate people like that. Not your teacher, but rich assholes.

Reminds me when my 8th grade class went on a Holocaust field trip. We saw the videos and everything of people being abused, tortured, and starved. And when it was all over some girl said she can't wait to leave because she's "starving".

One of the teachers lost it. And went on about how good she has it, and about how she just saw what real starving is and whatnot.

Many people take such basic and pointless things for granted.
Ok while I agree that some people fail to understand or appreciate the suffering of others, I have to play devil's advocate for a second.

I find it kind of annoying when the suffering of others is shoved into people's faces to make them feel bad. Its not like it was her fault, or due to her negligance that the holocaust happened and that jews suffered. It seems the same to me as saying "don't complain about your food, there's starving people in China!"

Why are americans squishy and pampered? Because the United States is a prosperous nation with educated workers and a good infrastructure. Is it really that girl's fault that she doesn't understand the suffering? After all, she didn't choose to grow up in a healthy environment.
That is a good point, and true I guess.
But it still doesn't mean she couldn't have chosen better words for it. Especially when there was a Holocaust speaker(who was also a survivor) within ear range).

anything=Hitler/Nazi. I have been guilty of it myself once or twice but I immediately grow enraged with myself at such a ridiculous sentiment. Hitler shouldn't just be used as a shorthand for 'evil' or 'bad' it completely distorts and undermines the suffering people experienced due to his orders. It makes me angry when people say 'he's as bad as Hitler' just because their boss asks them to occasionally wear a tie or something.

Apples and Oranges. Man it makes me mad when people compare those two.

I'm inclined to agree. Both make respectable juices and they're both pretty tasty. But oranges have that stupid peel. I want food, not a chore.
See now I would agree with that chart except Pomegranates should be way higher on the tasty level. They are without a doubt my favorite food in existence. They're just difficult as hell to eat without making a huge mess.

The only way that could be worse is if the kid then said 'God, what are you, some kind of Nazi?'

Yeah, I don't like it when people compare lightly punching your friend on the arm in a companionable way to domestic abuse. Seriously, this happens to me more than you might expect.

Pretty much anytime someone compares anything to nazi germany or the holocaust. The only people I give a pass on this are those people that were actually there. However, they aren't retarded enough to make such comparisons in the first place.

The endless comparison of Matt Smith and David Tennant...ARGH

Worst of all, though? On Conservapedia.com it genuinely states that 1984 is based around a world ruined by Liberals.
(surely totalitarianism is the exact OPPOSITE of liberalism?)

Oh gawd...that guy's just retarded. I have something just as bad though; a metacritic review for Panzer Dragoon Orta. Brittany T. gave it a 0:
Yeah, a shoot 'em up game? No, I don't think so. Bored to pieces in less than five minutes. The freedom the creators sacrificed for better graphics was too much. They ruined the game...however, with the ability to maneuver and fire like unreal championship 2 it could definitely win some brownie points. But it doesn't have it, so it won't.
It's a goddamn rail shooter! They didn't sacrifice shit! It's not supposed to be like frakkin' Unreal Tournament!

Thank you! Agh, seriously. Where were all the people comparing DT to Eccleston? But nope, Matt Smith is obviously trying to be David Tennant. What's that? He was inspired more by the fourth Doctor, by his own admission? Nope, it's obviously a poor David Tennant.

waiting in line for Mass Effect 2's Midnight Release, this douchebag walked up and started asking why people cared so much for a game like this when "Halo is obviously the better alien game" I nearly lost my shit. A.) for him comparing two completely different games. and B.) For him claiming that Halo (as a whole) has better writing than Mass Effect. Sorry bro, but Bioware kicks Bungie's ass in the writing department.

Just 'cause it has zombies doesn't mean they're comparable.

If you honestly can't see the humongous differences between those two movies, and why you can't compare them other than "Which do I prefer?", you need a reverse lobotomy.
