Back when I was playing WoW, we had a thread on our guild website with the same title as above. The "game" is pretty simple: do you have any moments in real life that make you realise you play too much.

Examples:
- When you look in the mirror, you could swear there was a blonde, blue eyed Hylian boy staring back at you.
- When you?re invited to play tennis, you assume it will be on Wii
- When you switch jobs, you refer to it as rerolling your class
- When driving, you consider driving like in GTA

So, please share your own uh-oh moments.

When I said "Thank the Nine" aloud or wanted to greet people like NPC's greet you in Oblivion.

My friend emailed me cause of her son's WoW account... how do i hack it.
wait, what?
this ended up with some crazy fits when, instead of hacking it, she put had blizzard hold his account - to her email - until he could act right and get his acct back with parental controls-
yeah, he was playing too much, wouldn't go school shopping, etc. we know games can get... ah... way more interesting than real life :)

Anyway - she takes his account.
She told me his freak out put the fake one on youtube to shame by a mile.

gets out of the shower later, he's on the computer on a TRIAL account.

when she turns off the computer SHE paid for, he freaks out and PUNCHES her.

so... WOW. Just fucking wow.

There's a floral arrangement at the entrance to my housing complex, and after going for 100% in Red Dead Redemption I remember driving by the flowers and thinking "how many more of those do I need to collect for this Survivalist challenge?"

I sold the game a few days later. My sanity slowly returned thereafter.

Whenever I look at my xfire profile [http://www.xfire.com/profile/daz56/].

I'm glad it doesn't take into account the 2 games I've played the most this week.

- When you go out on the street and you see the world through the game's HUD (Fallout 3, Borderlands...)
- When you start making more videogame refferences/comparisons than other hobby comparisons.
- When you organize everything in your closet like a Tetris screen.
- When your mascot (or mascosts) are named after videogame characters.
- When you start playing and 5 minutes later you realize that 6 hours have passed.

once you decided to stop playing and turn everything off, you can still hear the background music

When I was trying to figure out how to learn magic in demon's souls, I had several dreams in succession where I found spells or something.

This is an extremely efficient way of putting an end to your over-use of video-games.

If you drive like i do in GTA, you're gonna go to jail for many many years due to countless splattered bodies on the road.

Oh yeah, i dream about video-games, no shit.

when you see everything in film grain with motion blur and lag ensues when too many entities are on screen...

When you see landmines in the middle of the road, while driving, and you swerve to avoid them.

When I look at the hours ive played TF2, I never realised how much time you can waste with that game! Well it's not really wasting.

When i use to work in the Lawn and Garden section of Walmart i'd always scan the gardening equipment and think of how each tool could be made into an effective weapon. If you've played Dead Rising you can understand this thought process.

I have at times felt a tail behind me even if there is nothing there. Way to much Oblivion hehe. Or i would look up and see if there were any places for my hook shot to cling to at my local college.
