Moral Question for you

I'm really shocked at how offensive some of these responses are, wanting to drop nukes on other countries isn't for the betterment of mankind because it'll be doing away with evil, there will still be loss of innocent lives, that's not right. some sound a little too close to racism to me, i know another infamous guy in history who thought he was right about killing off a certain population because he felt they were evil and he was bettering mankind....

There is a difference between hatred of a group of people that act in a certain way and hatred of a group because of who they are.

Really? have you been to the place you want to decimate? do you know every single person there? have you studied them? No. Sorry charlie your wrong.. wanting to kill off a population cause you sum lump them all together is a hate crime. there are plenty of evil and corrupt people everywhere around the world, you would still be murdering innocent lives. your allowed your opinion i just hope you never have the means to actually act on your feelings... that would make you no better then a terrorist.

i was not directly commenting to you or attacking you in anyway, i was making a general assessment, you are not the only one who commented about killing off a place they felt is evil

Wow, I'm surprised someone else here actually understands that no one has the right to play with human lives. It's a shame the others aren't capable of understanding it. But +1 e-cookie to you for being a voice of truth among the others.

If I wasn't restrained, I'd take a chance to grab one of their weapons and fight back, even if I failed. I'm not going to comply if I can get out of it.

If I was restrained or otherwise unable to kill at least one of them, I'd nuke the capital of North Korea.

Nuke a useless city with low population/technology/power. Try to obtain as much information about the terrorists during and after this encounter.

After that, proceed to destroy the terrorists so no more cities are nuked.

Moral:
Don't destroy a city to save yourself: Destroy a city to save ten more.



Another option would be to have the city evacuated somehow.

Its a hard case because both the resources to track the terrorists OR to evacuate a city would not be present......

EDIT: Seriously now, between me and a town I get the feeling if there was anyone who could stop a terrorist organization or do something seemingly amazing would be me. So yeah, i'd use that nuke.

If the terrorist captured me that would mean I'm one of the few people that knows how to properly program the missle(s) guidence systems. I'd request payment for my "help" in the form of an MI-24 "Hind" attack helicopter, which I'll use one of the nuke to rig a nuclear reactor for to power it and it's new gattling laser. Then I'd program the missles to have the lowest yeild possable to prevent unneccasary casualties, and set the targes as, the PETA headquaters(because ironically they kill any animal they get ahold of, and no one kills puppies and kittens and gets away with it), I'd set the next for the Westboro Baptist Church, Tehran, Pyongyang, but the last will appear to target Washington DC but will have a hidden sub program that once it reaches orbit it will change the target to the terrorist hideout. By the time it hits the hideout I'll be long gone in my new chopper and have accomplished several of my wishes in on act.
